Thoughts on Team Galactic

Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie created the red chain, therefore they know how they can destroy it, and listen to this:

In Celestic Town, it was clearly mentioned that Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit locked Dialga/Palkia's power away, and Celestic Town was visited by Cyrus himself, as proven when you first encounter him in Mt. Coronet.

In short, Team Galactic is one big plothole in the 4th generation. If Game Freak/Nintendo would only have put in a little more effort, they could've created a decent story, with a decent plot, and no evil team that looks like a bunch of 30-year old space-camp geeks who have conventions and secret meetings in a barn on their parents' farm. Heck, i'd favor the Go-Rock Squad over Team Galactic :p (and that's saying something)

The Lake Trio knew that they could destroy it. Nobody else knew.

Using the Red Chain = Locking the power away. Cyrus knew all about that. Destroying the Red Chain did not lock the Legendary Pokémons power away. Destroying the Red Chain made the Legendary Pokémon nearly destroy the world, because it's the same as removing the lock placed upon its powers.

I'd favor the Go-Rock Squad over Team Galactic

So would I. The Go-Rock Quads are the best band ever.
 
Game Freak makes the enemy teams tell their plans, which is stupid. And Cyrus, allows Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit to destroy the Red Chain.
 
i'm not hoping for a next generation honestly....

Anyway, if they do make one, and they probably will, I hope they let Team Rocket rise again. In fact, i think Team Rocket could've done nicely in the 4th gen instead of Team Galactic. They didn't even have to change the story that much:

Team Rocket wants to use Dialga/Palkia/Giratina's power to rule the world, but not neccesarily create a new one with them. Giovanni would see this legendary trio as the ultimate power, and that's all he ever wanted.

That's turning a bad plot into a good one without changing anything of the gameplay. THAT would've made a decent 4th gen game. :p

They could've at least let you liberate AMU by force -_- . And why couldn't it have been Prof. Rowan to give you the Masterball when he catches up with you on Spear Pillar? These two things would've made alot more sense, and it doesn't take a genius to think it up like that.
 
Team Rocket should get a chance to try and conquer Sinnoh. Maybe they won't be as stupid as Cyrus and Team Galactic.
