Team Rocket’s Larvitar, Team Rocket’s Pupitar, and Team Rocket’s Tyranitar have been revealed from The Glory of Team Rocket! The set will release in Japan on April 18th and become part of May’s Destined Rivals.

Team Rocket’s Larvitar – Fighting – HP70
Basic Pokémon
[C] Mountain Munch: 10 damage. Discard the top card of your opponent’s deck.

Team Rocket’s Pupitar – Fighting – HP100

pretty much a ressemblance to dark tyrannitar back in rse era. I like the idea of a 1 prizer trying to stop this op ex dudes
 
If Tyranitar was good this would be amazing. PUPTIAR HAS FREAKING ASCENSION THAT DEALS DAMAGE. I mean Froslass Ttar could be interesting but Froslass is kinda its own thing right now
 
It looks like a lot of the TR pokemon have fairly generic energy costs, which makes TR energy useful for all of them even if they aren't dark. IDK how useful the sandstorm effect will be, the attack itself feels just kinda okay. We'll just have to see how this TR toolbox deck ends up.
 
This set is so goofy. Brian from pokeNE even said this set was going to be very mediocre way back in August, and so far he is correct. When I think of team rocket I think of Jessie and James and meowth, not team rocket grunts Tyranatar and Regirock. To be fair we need mid sets to calm the hype storm down, if they kept releasing banger sets it would further destabilize the secondary market.
