This game was released for the Genesis/MegaDrive, and the Game Gear. It's basically Tetris with little bean guys that Robotnik captured.

I like Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. It's a cool little puzzle game I like to play on Sonic and SEGA Genesis Collection, but it's kinda hard.

#9: Sonic Chaos (April, 1993)

Sonic_the_Hedgehog_Chaos_Coverart.png

This game was the first 8-bit game to have Tails as a playable character. The story goes like this: Dr. Robotnik steals the red emerald and doing something to it that causes the other emeralds to lose balance and go into the special zone. The dimensional breach makes South Island(Sonic's home) start to sink into the ocean. It's up to Sonic and Tails to get all the emeralds, stop Dr. Robotnik from destroying the planet with his red emerald powered missiles and nukes, and save their home!

#10: SegaSonic The Hedgehog (September, 1993)

250px-SegaSonic_title.png

This game was an arcade game that featured 2 new characters: Mighty the armadillo, and Ray the flying squirrel. The only game Ray has ever been in, and the first of 2 games for Mighty. Sonic, Mighty, and Ray have to escape from Eggman Island because the dastardly doc had captured them.

#11: Sonic Spinball (November, 1993)

280px-SpinballBox.png

This game is played like a pinball game where Sonic is in his spin mode. Robotnik has taken control of Mt. Mobius and turns it into his Veg-O-Fortress. It has a roboticizer in it, that turns animals into robots. The only way for Sonic to stop the fortress is to make the volcano erupt. To do that, he needs to take the 16 blue chaos emeralds out of it, causing the volcano to lose it's stability and erupt! Robotnik realises the link between these emeralds and Mt. Mobius and creates a pinball defense system to keep Sonic from foiling his evil plot.

#12: Sonic CD (November, 1993)

255px-Soniccd-cover.jpg

This game was the first to have Metal Sonic and Amy Rose. The story is this: Robotnik has located a small planet called Little Planet. The planet has a bunch of powerful gemstones called Time Stones. Robotnik chains the planet down onto the top of a mountain and turns it into a fortress. Sonic has to find all the Time Stones, travel through the past, present, and future, save Amy Rose, and defeat Robotnik and Metal Sonic.

You need to play it right now. If you don't have a random Sega CD lying around (like I do), either get Sonic Gems Collection (for the Gamecube in America and for both the GC and the PS2 in Europe) or play a rom or something.

I really don't want to get Gems Collection because I'm afraid of the Tails Doll Curse on Sonic R It's expensive and I have no cash.

^Its not thaaat expensive, you can find it used for under $9.99.Unless of course you look on Ebay.

It does look pretty fun. I'll probably get the gems collection next time I see it and have some spare change.

#13: Sonic The Hedgehog 3 (February, 1994)

Sonic_the_hedgehog_3.gif

After Sonic The Hedgehog 2, the Death Egg has fallen onto a floating island called Angel Island. However, it is not completely destroyed. Angel Island floats because of the Master Emerald. Robotnik wants to steal the Master Emerald to power his Death Egg, so it's up to Sonic and Tails to collect the chaos emeralds on the island and stop Robotnik. Buuuuuut, the guardian of the island, Knuckles the Echidna, thinks Sonic and Tails are thieves so he tries to stop them.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is probably one of my favorite games of all time.

They are two halves of the same game, you see.

Yes, that game is AMAZING!!!!! I love the story line (pretty much the first one where the storyline is actually portrayed in the game), and the levels are just plain fun.

Oh yes,I remember playing Sonic 3.Best out of the three or rather the four (Sonic the Hedgehog 4).

They are two halves of the same game, you see.

Yes, I do know that, but that "half" of the game wasn't released till later because they couldn't fit all the levels into one, therefore, I am doing another talk on S3&K.

I'm a bit busy right now, but I'll post the next games as soon as I can so we can have some more discussions. :)
