#17: Sonic And Knuckles (November 1994)

Sonic and Knuckles was basically part 2 to Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and started off right where part 1 ended. After the Death Egg was destroyed again.... It crash lands onto Knuckles Floating Island and you have to play as Sonic or Knuckles (because he's a good guy now!) to stop him! 2 Stories! Whooooah. Which won't happen again until Sonic Adventure. Anyways, you finally destroy the Death Egg, save the Master Emerald and the island, and give a sigh of relief for beating a game with a lot of levels with 2 stories without the ability to save your progress! Woot!

THE DEATH EGG SAGA HAS BEEN COMPLETED!!

#18: Tails Music Maker (actually 17, but I made a mistake. Whatever. Sept 1994)

Nothing much to say about this game, except that Tails teaches you music stuff.

#19: Knuckles Chaotix (March, 1995)

The game plays similar to the previous ones exept that you control 2 characters at once using the elastic ring. There are 7 playable characters in the game, all with different special abilities: Knuckles the Echidna, Mighty the Armadillo, Vector the Crocodile, Charmy Bee, Espio the Chameleon, Heavy, and Bomb.

Here is the story straight from the manual (because I felt lazy):

Tomorrow's the big opening day for Carnival Island, a huge amusement resort with the latest in high-tech rides and games. As guardian of the island, it's Knuckles' job to make sure nothing goes wrong before the grand event.
Unfortunately, the evil Dr. Robotnik has other plans. He needs fuel for his latest diabolical device, and the Power Emerald that supplies electricity to the entire island fits the bill perfectly. His awful new invention, the Combi Confiner, should help him get rid of that annoying echidna and his friends.
When Knuckles returns from patrolling the far end of the island, he discovers that Dr. Robotnik has imprisoned all of his friends- Espio the Chameleon, Mighty the Armadillo, Vector the Crocodile and Charmy Bee. After he chases the Doctor off, Knuckles discovers that he can rescue one friend at a time by using Ring Power... only the power that sparks between the rings holds the two partners together like a magical rubber band. Never held back for long, Knuckles finds that with a little teamwork, he can use the stretching and snapping action of the Ring Power to double- even triple- the partners' speed.
And they need all the speed they can get. As Dr. Robotnik drains the power from Carnival Island, everything on the island begins to break down! Robotnik must be stopped, or by tomorrow morning - the morning of Carnival Island's big opening day - the grand amusement park will lie in ruins!​

Kunckles Chaotix is one of the very few Sonic games that I have never played (although I actually own a 32X. I should try to buy a copy).

Really? Eggman you have so lost your game. He made a Metal Sonic and now a Metal Knuckles? Eggman, you are copying your own self in the furure.

Actually, That was the old Metal Sonic which transforms into a giant red Metal Sonic at the end of the game.

So, the Sonic Gatefold cover for issue 225 will also have a variant sketch cover teasing the death of a prominent character of the series. The character doesn't wear gloves so it has to be one of these good guys.

Sally is a likely guess, but I would hate that!

Antoine is also a good guess, but that would suck too.

Geoffrey St. Jhon is a candidate because recently he went rougue, but I think he is only pretending to be evil to be undercover or something. Right now in the comics he doesn't wear gloves but I couldn't find a pic. I might scan one later but I don't feel like it right now.

Here are the last 2. Tails dad, Amaudus Prower(left) and Sally's brother, King Elias Acorn.(right) These guys are friends right now, so don't be fooled by the picture. That was just a civil war thingamabob.

#20: Tails' Skypatrol (April, 1995)

Tails' Skypartrol is a spin off game featuring Sonic's buddy Miles Prower, aka Tails. The story is about Tails stopping a witch named Wendy Witchart and her 3 sub-bosses. The gameplay is a lot different to previous Sonic games because Tails flies THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME. That's right, he just keeps flying until he gets tired and dies. There are no rings in this game, exept for the one ring he holds on to for the whole game. Also, Tails has to grab magic candy to keep flying. This is the first Sonic game to feature a tutorial zone.

#21: Tails' Adventure(sept, 1995)

This game plays the same as the previous Sonic games. Hooray!

Plot:
In the southern Pacific, there exists a tiny island that cannot be found on any map: Cocoa Island, a beautiful little paradise that rests atop a coral reef. It's said that some of the legendary Chaos Emeralds rest here. It's a sunny afternoon on Cocoa Island, and Miles "Tails" Prower is taking a nap just outside his research lab. His slumber is interrupted by a huge explosion, and before Tails can say "stop, drop, and roll" the whole place is ablaze. A frantic Flicky reports the bad news to a confused Tails: the imperial Battle Kukku Army has invaded Cocoa Island. The dictator Great Battle Kukku 15th has discovered the Chaos Emeralds on the island, and intends to use them to conquer the entire world. Tails is the only one who can put a stop to the imperial army.
