It will be a long time till we get to that. In the meantime, I think it's time for a question. You all know about the rumours going around about the next big Sonic game? If you don't, here are the facts.....errr...rumours:
The title might be:
Sonic Anniversary
The game:
Will be a bunch of the best classic Sonic levels remade from Sonic the Hedgehog-Sonic Adventure 2. There might be a story, there might not.
Further evidence:
Crush 40 (the band that made lot's of Sonic songs) said they were working on a new big Sonic game
Tony Harnell (artist of Escape from the City) said on facebook: “Sang the new version of Escape From The City today w/Ted Poley for the SEGA game Sonic The Hedgehog

A Spanish Sega representative has confirmed in Europe that a brand new Sonic game is being made as well: "The next Sonic will be a compilation of the best classic levels, from Sonic the Hedgehog’s Green Hill Zone to Sonic Adventure 2, updated for current generation consoles. That means there will be a mix of 2D and 3D environments adapted for the game. How that mix will be adapted–be it 2D updated to 2.5 or even 3D, vice versa, or some combination of both–couldn’t be disclosed. What was disclosed is that game will be coming to the Playstation 3, Playstation Portable, the Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo DS. An XBOX 360 port could not be confirmed at the show, but that may be soon to come."
Okay, here is the question: What 20 levels would you put into the game?

Hello i guess this is my intro post!
So i have loved Sonic the hedgehog since 1991...
knuckles is my fave followed by blaze and rogue then sonic
ive had 5 real live pet hedgehogs ( 1 was named knuckles)
i have almost every US sonic comic book ever made, plus a few japanese and uk exclsuive ones
i have tons of sonic figures and plush- my pride is my giant knuckles plush 56 inches tall
i have at least 13 sonic games from the 1st genesis and game gear ones to sonic unleashed
BTW the newest issue of US sonic the hedgehog issue 221---has a cameo appearance of Super Mario! look on 1st page just inside cover in the crowd at concert---he is there as a tanooki form (raccoon dog)
ok hey ziggyfin i was going through all your posts of the complete sonic games review and you missed 2 games that came out in 1993ish.
A. the US sonic the hedgehog arcade game- this game was a ticket giving game in which you put in a token/quarter and the token rolls the down the game you try to knock over badniks. There is cool sonic artwork and robotniks laughter and classic sega sounds, as far as I can remember this is a game made by sega and it closely resembles the ticket giving bowling game. There used to be one at an arcade at North myrtle Beach, SC however its been soo many years since I went there I kind-of doubt they are still there or have the game still.
B. a sonic game for the sega pico- this game was basically a lot of different mini games. featured sonic, tails, amy, robotnik. There was even a minigame UFO catcher where you got sonic, tails, amy dolls! my mother once had this game and sega pico system then she gave them away------doh! i was so miffed she knew i loved sonic.

Yes. Although I think it might be a mobian tanooki dressed up with mario overalls and a black mario cap. It was awesome! I'm still waiting for my Sonic Universe #25 to come in the mail.

Imagine this stage in 2-D and 3-D Sonic Unleashed style!

Boardwalks + orcas + robot monkeys + water + Sonic Unleashed=epicness
Windy Valley:
I would love to see how they made the tornado(not the plane) parts and the running on wind parts.

Running around at the speed of sound! Got places to go gonna follow my rainbow!
