Okay, another new discussion topic, and this requires some speculation:

Do you think there we be more sonic characters in an upcoming SSB? Which ones?

I mean he'd be awesome. He's fit for a fighting game. Makes me wish he had a beat-em-up stage in '06.

I won't be updating my blog anymore because I'm just way to busy, so yeah.

For the questions, I will be getting Sonic Generations for the PS3 because...it's Sonic Generations. I might get it for 3DS if I get a 3DS.

It has been (sorta) confirmed that a new Super Smash Bros. game will be made for the Wii U and 3DS, but they haven't even started development. So if I were to put a new Sonic character in it, it would have to be Tails.
 
OK i need video gaming HELP!!!! i have searched gamefaqs and to no luck.....soo
i have wii with gamecube controller and memory card (plenty of space)
and my sonic gems....
i started playing yesterday
sonic CD...supposedly its supposed to auto-save.....well i died, turned off the game, today no saved game info when i go to play sonic CD??? how can i save?? and how can return to gems title screen from within title screen of sonic CD (or other game)???
sorry but i just now started playing since i just got a ne wmemory card (didnt want to play if i couldnt save)....and the game (only bought within the last year- i know i know im behind on games lol)...game did not come w instructions
any help is greatly appreciated!
 
Not much news to share... only one slightly important topic:

The anticipated prerelease demo of Sonic Generations, containing the level Chemical Plant, has been busted as an untrue rumor.

Thats about it... :/

@ Binx: Sorry I can't help you, as I've never owned Sonic CD.

Might as well make another discussion topic, due to the lack of news :/

What do you think of Sega's most recent games (Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours, and now Sonic Generations)? Were you disappointed? Excited? Discuss!
 
I was just fine with the demo's that I played, I still like the older ones better though, but that is just me
 
After Sonic '06, the new games are a breath of fresh air.

They were all fun. And MrGatr, you can't make a judgment by playing the demos :) But games like SA2B, or Sonic Heroes could be equal or less.

I agree, but I didn't mention how many sonic games I had a demo of, SA2B was the demo, I think I should give it another shot, seeing how most of you think that it is really fun. Sonic 06, I can't ever get into it enough to beat it. I like the newer ones better than that one. I also found out that all my sonic games are the brand new ones, so I kinda take that post back, Old ones aren't as good.
 
I really enjoy playing Sonic 2 and 3 every once and a while, and I've gotta say I prefer them to most of the modern games. SA2B is probably the only game I like more... Sonic Unleashed had werehog stages, which were long and boring. Sonic Colours was kind of lame (the Tails voice actor killed me) with the whole plot, and it was an obvious spinoff of a superior Mario Galaxy 2. I can't say anything for Sonic Generations though, as its not released yet...

I don't mind it, I probably should think that it was run over by a 18 wheeler :p, but I actually think its a really good remix of City Escape.

Back on topic however,

I haven't played Sonic Colors, but the only thing I haven't liked about ALL the Sonic games released.... THE WEREHOG STAGES!!!! I HATE them!! Also loath them with a burrrning passion.

There has been no Sonic game that I have hated however. I love all of them. Every platform has had its somewhat annoying bits. Sonic Advance 1,2 and 3 were the annoying ones for me, but regardless, I cant say I hated them.

I am a true Blue Sonic fan :D. I can't WAIT for Generations

For those of you that want to see my Pokemon Sonic Play mat, PM me and I'll send you the link I uploaded it on and the password to get to it. I don't want anyone stealing my idea :p. I haven't gotten it printed yet lol.

That remix concludes that the soundtrack for Generations will be bought by me!
But that's only the classic theme of the level, the modern theme (or at least some of it) is right here:

Personally, I like the classic remix more, but that's just me.
 
I like the classic theme better too.

Someone (on Youtube) hacked the Sonic Demo to play as Modern showing a few things. Should I bring it up?

b) I beg to differ. A true Sonic fan is hardcore, where as I know some small time Sonic fans.

I like the classic remix, but the modern makes me REALLY want to buy the Soundtrack :D I LOVE IT!!!

A - Depends, were you playing on the Wii version? Xbox/PS3 is the way to go.

Well, I noticed three things:

1) They brought back the red rings. We already knew this, but this is 100% confirmation.

2) A skateboard power-up? That's pretty darn cool.

3) Pause at 4:51, and you'll see the Mighty and Ray missing poster.
