tentacruel as a tech?

ok i was wondering would tentacruel be a good tech in a king deck??
i was thinking maybe and maybe not i can do 40dmg to one of his pokemon n then next turn do even more...i just dnt know can someone help me??

I think it could work....but i prefer to play tentacruel with lanturn. I think tentacruel is good against kingdra, cause you dont help it adding energies to it, plus you get them out of the discard pile.
