Terrakion - Future BDIF?

Will Terrakion be the next BDIF?

Terrakion is very good. Its amazing consistency can make it a dangerous deck to play against at a tourney. Problem? Energies. Terrakion may be all handy dandy with 2 energies by T2, but if Straight Terrakion cannot draw into enough or any EXP Shares, they are done. Eels can actually beat Terrakion, and mine has (Except my Eels is Zekeels w/ hydreigon so I spread with the Hydra and KO with zeks.). It is not BDIF, even with and added Terrakion EX, but It will become increasingly better because Terrakion has the same damage output as a regular terrakion, but attaches fighting energies to your terrakions as well. That will increase the decks potential a lot. Not to mention that Terrakion EX can strike for 50 (100 against weakness I think, may be wrong) T2, easily Koing weak basics that cannot reveng kill it.

Not all decks with eels in their name: not: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/thread-allergetic-eels-ex-zekrom-ex-eels-and-vilplume-wait-what

No way CMT is still running around as one of the BDIF. Also terrakion gets destroyed by mewtwo with eviolite if the terrakion player does not play it.

With Dark Explorers and Groudon EX, Terrakion will definatly get better, not BDIF but probably a tier 2 or 3 deck

I disagree. Terrakion on it's own is just not good enough of a deck to get by. Especially straight Terrakion, as your mulligan rate is absolutely awful which gives your opponent an advantage that you can to an extent avoid by playing more basics. I think that by the time we get Terrakion EX, then and only at that point will Terrakion become BDIF.

Some would argue that Landorus is what Terrakion needs to become BDIF, but the acceleration it provides is so in-direct and requires the use and search of Shaymin which really kills the consistency that straight Terrakion lists have.

As long as Eelektrik is in the format, and those Eelektriks play Mewtwo, Zekrom, and Pluspower, (Eviolite helps too) Terrakion can never become BDIF. On top of that, it is hugely susceptible to Ns, probably the most susceptible in the format. That isn't good when most decks run 2-3.
