Esperante, I think he was trying to say that we think it smells GOOD b/c we have the association.
Personally I think I would think it smells good anyway, but the association makes it better!
 
Wow, irony today. I traded a Buck's to some kid at League and he started smelling it as soon as it was in his hand. I was like, "Did you just smell my card?" He replied, "Yeah, all cards smell good." So then I sniffed the card he traded me and shrugged. lol

RH Pokemon Rescue. I should've traded for a Bebe's, but I figured he wouldn't do it. I have extra Buck's though so it was ok.

AND ALL THE CARDS SMELT GOOD. Just saying that to make the post relevant to the topic lol.

Guys you must be crazy for smelling the new smell because if you actually dniff too much for too long you could run into trouble. It is almost as bad as smeelling cleaners for cleaning. If you start smelling the smell of cards then the next step i cleaners. I think this is a pointless thread and should be locked. It is not good to sniff chemicals. Very bad for your health over time. Just want to caution you guys about the hazords of sniffing.:)
 
I smell every card in my binder and it smells great! Even though they are kind of old, they still have that smell.

lol, yeah, people think I'm weird.
 
Actually, me and piplup234 have a theory that packs with X's smell different. At first it was just a joke, but then we were stunned at the platinum pre-release when we predicted which of our packs had an X. They have a heavier and sweeter scent.
 
Fresh ink pressing always is awesome. much like the first time you open a book. Then again I never buy packs, but I do know what you mean. I don't sniff them afterwards, though. I'm afraid I might damage them by sneezing or something. xD
 
Aah, its beautiful. Some cards in my card book still have that smell one year on. I always like that smell, wierd thread but at least someone agrees with me lolz.
