My favorite card would have to be my theme deck holo Leafeon from MD. It was my first ever card, and I wouldn't be on Pokebeach right now if I hadn't received it, since I wouldn't have started playing. Yes, there are more expensive cards in my collection, but none will ever be as valuable to me as that Leafeon I got five years ago.
Second favorite is Stunfisk from Shiny Collection, just because the artwork.

I'm not that much into the TCG, but I have and still do (a little) collected cards. My centerpiece is probably my old Ancient Egyptian Mew, even though I guess it's not that rare.

My Latias Star - gem-mint condition, thanks to pulling it out of a pack - is my pride and joy. I bought a random EX Deoxys pack off Amazon, hoping that I would get that one card - and I DID! (Latias is my favorite Pokemon)
I've got a pair of Base Set Charizards that I'm proud of. I've also got the "Legendary" Dragonite promotional card that came with the Japanese version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game for Gameboy.

From my knowledge, not that rare. It nets around 5$ last time I checked (Which was a very long time ago)
