For this round, you get to delve a little into one of my favorite hobbies - the Pokemon TCG! Granted, it's the main focus of Pokebeach, but I know not everyone here is in to that kind of thing. Relax, what I'm about to ask of you will not be that mentally taxing. What I'd like you to do...is create your own Pokemon card.

Rules and such:
  • Your card needs to actually be some kind of Pokemon. The species and the other trimmings are up to you, but it needs to actually be a Pokemon. Or if you want, it can be a Trainer card (or even Energy if you feel like it, but I wouldn't recommend it). And if it's a Trainer card, the added bonus is you don't have to have just Pokemon characters in it, but if you choose Pokemon, it needs to be a Pokemon.
  • It needs to be reasonably powered, for any era of time that the TCG has existed in. You can have it in Base Set, Neo, EX, DP, or even BW style, but make sure its strength is reasonable in each case.
  • Try to have your wording be accurate as well. I'll score you higher based if you have more accurate wording or not.
  • Grading style will be based on several factors, such as creativity and accuracy, but there will be a few other things besides that. I will not divulge the rubric here yet.
  • Ah, just so I make this abundantly clear - you are only working on the WORDING portion of the card. You do not need to worry about pictures, card blanks, anything like that - you will only be graded on your wording. You can create a fake card from a blank if you like, but it's the wording I'm interested in.
  • The entries are due in my inbox by Sunday, October 7th, at 11.00pm Pacific Time, in my inbox.
  • Oh, and please have fun with it. Let your imagination go wild.
 
Good, that just means you get a head start on this round.
 
Votes are due in one hour 20 minutes and we have a tie, if the tie isn't broken, it'll be random.
