I'm not really sure about a Team captain. PMJ seems like a good bet, but I'm not sure who has the most experience... As for teams names: You Thirsty Bro? (Reference to Groudon's Drought ability)

I like my team. I've talked with most of you personally. Looking forward to hanging out with you all. Note that if any of you have Skype, send me your Skype name and I'll add you to the Red Team (or whatever we'll call us) chat.

If no one on Red team wants to be the leader, I'm willing to run for it.

@HL: Yeah, competitive TCG player. I think Bippa, HL, or Hyper is our best shot. Probably not me because this is my first Challenge.

@My team,

I wouldn't mind being leader myself, but I think it's a good idea to get all of the facts from the players before we make a decision. We need to find everyone's strengths and weaknesses and use it to our advantage.

Who am I kidding, vote me and I'll give you a free (used) vacuum. What's better than that?

Or we could do that first thing. Seems proper either way.
 
1. Hyper - Awesome VG player, I think he plays a bit of TCG
2. Bippa - VG player, finalist in last season, plays some TCG
3. HypnoticLuxray - Good writer
4. Porygon-X - I recall him being active in TCG, and I do remember him knowing a lot
5. Cinesra - Good VG player
6. Lucky Fire - Active in writer's corner, plays a bit of VG
7. Matryoshka - Very good TCG player. Plays a little bit of VG.
8. Eevee - TCG Trader (Don't know how much TCG skill he has)

I learned from when I ran it that activity challenges are failure. They take too long and are only useful for weeding out those who don't care. Hopefully Guy and DNA picked up on this for when they run it.

That's the only reason I made a list. Its quick and convenient (although I did forget about you making the finals >.<). As for the first post, it was a total coincidence.

It's more so for the sake of convenience than for appearance - just so people don't get confused as to who they're talking to. During the first round of last game, that happened way too often.

Welcome, contenders, to the third season of The Challenge! Here you shall be tested to your utter limits as you not only work together with your team, but also try to bring down your opponents in the process. A fair bit of teamwork and treachery are required on the part of all to succeed, so good luck and play your best!
But before we begin, let's set some ground rules down for the teams.

  • Each team must have a Team Captain. The Team Captain is considered to be the voice of the entire team, and any decisions the Team Captain makes are considered final. Thus, it is important that you pick a Team Captain you are satisfied with. (If the Captain wants, s/he can have a co-leader, but each team must have a Captain.) The Team Captain must be elected by a simple majority vote, i.e. 5 votes or more (out of 8 people). Each person on the team gets 1 vote and you can vote for yourself, but if you want to get anywhere, come to an agreement.
  • After you have set up a captain, you need to think of a name for your team. It has to have exactly 3 words in it - any names more or less than that will not be accepted. And for an extra twist, your team name must have something to do with a Pokemon Generation 3 version mascot - namely, either Kyogre, Groudon, or Rayquaza. The same mascot can't be picked by two different teams, either - so that way each of you gets a different one! Mufufufufufufu.
  • And once you have done that too, each team must make a banner. The banner must have 3 focal points in it (1 of which must be the mascot, and you have to show me the other 2), and be a size of 333 pixels tall by 1003 pixels wide.
  • Any and all discussion of team-building in this challenge must be done in this thread. If I don't see any discussion here, it doesn't count.
  • This challenge needs to be completed by Sunday, March 25th, 11.30pm Pacific Daylight Time. There is no reward for whoever finishes this challenge first, but if you don't get it all done by then, your team will lose 1 person. In order to count this challenge as complete, I, DNA, must receive a PM from your Team Captain with your team name and banner in it.
  • For the duration of this challenge, all the members of the same team have to speak in the same color (or a shade of it). I'll give the teams below and their colors, so get to work!

Anyways, I'm not sure what we should do in terms of captain, but I'm just gonna do a quick banner and post it up here for a starting point.
Here's a list of people on our team. I wouldn't mind being a captain, if you think I'd be a good choice, but I think we should all make it clear whether or not we're wanting to be a captain so we know who to narrow our list down to.

I think it would make things less complicated if we made a popularity list in order of who we would like as captain after people say if they would like to run. This would make it easier to decide on a captain who everyone would be relatively happy with.
