We weren't trolling you, but the moment you sent me 6 links for each of the pokemons bulba pages, I disregarded you for TheGuy for second. I sent you all the right answers, just after the much better, and right deal.

How are there 255 catchable Pokemon in Red and Blue? Is it (number in red) + (number in blue), or (number in both red and blue)? I did the latter.

Yeah I have no idea on that one either. I was getting numbers in the low 100's because I was doing the second method and subtracting those you only get through evolving, getting from professor, fossils etc.

I got my number just by looking at http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_availability, to find out which Pokemon are legitimately catchable in both Red and Blue. I think I got 74 or something similar.
