RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

Kinda glad I was eliminated when I was. This challenge seems boring. I hope there's some clever trick to this.

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

Why don't you guys just... hold a real conversation? you know... no backstabbing? or alliances? just talk like real human beings.

Nicely done, eron. And sorry, james, but I'm not some phillistine that doesn't care about the proper use of proportions in digital imagery.

You know that James is playing, right?

Too difficult. Couldn't backstabbing be considered it's own language, and then we're holding a real conversation anyway?

I agree with what professor light said. How has everyone's day been? I've been at school all day, bought some decorations for the school dance, plus some cookies for a Student Council Birthday Party, and then went to my Linear Algebra class at the community college and got 50/50 on the first exam, so I'm pretty excited about that.

You'd like to use as many different words as possible than what other people have said. However, that's a near impossible task in keeping track of unless the only thing you did all day was play this game.

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

I do have to say, this challenge seems a bit impossible, but I'm willing to try to win. Hopefully, I can win this round so I don't have to bother with it for a week.

On a side note: PP, would C+P an entire book be against the rules?

Why not a dictionary?

Because then I'd have to C+P around 400+ pages instead of 60 pages (Only book I have downloaded is 62 pages :p)

Ctrl+A Makes it easier.

I know. That's what I use to C+P

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

This challenge might just be one of the hardest ones yet... Oh well! Looks like we'll just be forced to talk like civil human beings.

So today, we had school club pictures. Both of mine were conveniently scheduled during periods when I had a test so I ended up forgetting about one of them. I also started reading Homestuck, after a recommendation from a friend of mine. Currently, I'm waiting for my school to call and tell me that I have the day off tomorrow, because there's pretty much a zero percent chance that we'll actually have school with the impending snowstorm. And now, I think I'm going to play some Minecraft, maybe go on the MineZ servers and try to not be killed by bandits.

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

I get it. So I just need to make big posts.
First, I'll give a quick run down of my Fire Emblem: Awakening Lunatic status;
What is this, insane? Only a lunatic would play a game this hard so- ...Oh.
Well, I paired my Female Avatar (Alexandra) with Chrom, and stuck them in a corner fighting a single mage. A soldier thing came up later, but with Lissa near them, I killed him as well. Fredrick did everything else, and I didn't have the sense to save his Silver Lance. Kill all the things, am I right? I had to restart a few times, as Fredrick kept getting KO'd when I let too many ruffians surround him. I saved the last few turns and healed my units with Lissa's staff. Chrom actually got the final KO on the boss/leader.
I was stuck here for the longest time. The whole level is designed to make you squeal and want to run away. It's THAT difficult. My winning run consisted of Chrom pairing with Fredrick and camping in a fort. Got a few lucky misses when the hammer-wielding Risen came around, and only left the fort to destroy the last archer and axe-throwing chief. My other units holed up in the corner (besides Virion, who died getting the last bit of damage in on an archer, and Sully, who knocked out a random guy).
This level wasn't nearly as hard, but maybe that's because I sort of knew what to expect. While the rest of my units stayed in the safe zone at the bottom of the map, Fredrick and Stahl (why didn't I choose Chrom? Pfft, idk) went to the center of the map and waited to be attacked. They killed all the things. However, the "safe-zone" wasn't as safe as I had hoped. By the time the bottom of the map was clear, my only untis left were Alexandra (avatar), Chrom, Fredrick, and Stahl. Fortunately, I was still able to clear the map with a good combination of strength, skill, and all around awesomeness. :p
I HATED this chapter! If you play in Normal (maybe Hard too, can't remember) the side you don't take doesn't both with you. Well, you're not so lucky in Lunatic mode. I was chased all around the map. My winning run had Fredrick steal the javelin from Kellam and pair up with Chrom. This allowed him to protect Chrom (I didn't bring Alexandra, too much of a liability right now) and hit the archers that would otherwise be safe from his counter attacks. Once I had the door unlocked, I stormed the top of the fort and made straight for the leader. She went down in two attacks (plus a counter, if that counts).
Finally! The last chapter before DLC is unlocked and I can grind! I did this map in one run, automatically giving Fredrick all the healing items I had left and pairing him with Chrom. The stupid axe-men though, they kept staying close to lance users, so it was hard to choose between using a sword or my lance. Marth was the last one I took out, and it only took two shots. The easiest chapter so far, I must say.
Currently grinding on my EXP map.

Random/extra stuff for more words:
If any of you have seen professorlight's generation seven project, you'll know it's quite the thing to be a part of! "Do this" "Don't do that" "Needs more spikes" "No, it CANNOT be Grass type!" "Let go of my computer you stalker!" And the like.

A little bit more... Uh...
There's always the Kalos Frontier! You should all go check it out, because it's actually a thing. They have the official temporary PB chat room too, so cool stuff.

Poor old Wander sat on a wall,
Poor old Wander had a great fall.
All Keeper's horses and Keeper's men
Wouldn't put Wander back together again.

Yeah... so, the most common words have been used so....

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

After the seven rounds, anyone who remains cursed will be put up for elimination. If no one says the magical word in the round, no one gets to be uncursed.

However, typical Hades fashion demands a twist. Out of the four cursed people at the end of Challenge 12, the player who makes the fewest posts will automatically be eliminated and be the second jury member.
Explain this to me Astra.
Why would there only be four people cursed? How do you know there won't be more?

Other little stuff:
Anybody else notice that the thread title hasn't been changed?
I just realized that I actually want more posts, not the least. Oops.

Do you really think I'd pick a common word like "the" for a needle in a haystack challenge?"

If I say yes, I win, right?

RE: The Challenge: Season 4 - Challenge 12 coming soon!

Do the first four cursed go up for elimination, or do all cursed people have a chance to be voted out by the jury?
