But in my defense, I was at school, where we don't get to go on pokebeach because the government filters our internet! Yay!
(and I had an after-school meeting, but without it my earliest time to get on is around 2 hours before now.)

It's filtered at school, to prevent us from going on: game-related websites, deviantart, youtube, non-PG-13, and similar stuff like that. (And dropbox as well, which sucks.)
Which, interestingly, doesn't block bulbapedia, animelyrics.com and probably a few other sites which I don't have interest in.
To be a bit more precise, if we're using the school's internet, we go through a proxy which allows: only school students to log in (there's a username/pw required and one exists for every school/uni student in the state presumably) and a limited number of websites (see above). (teachers have a login as well, but stuff isn't blocked for them.)

But that's almost the same in my school, but our professor lets us to play or do whatever after we work, we play Halo and he just tells us: "If you want we to let you play, don't make noise".
But that of making that you to log in... that's tough.

meh we get used to it.
By the way you said that, I thought you meant that your school didn't have anything like that. Us students can't even connect to servers required for games and such (e.g. steam), not that I play very many games at school.
