Ahhhh, the first episode only? nah, they were just the setup, introducing characters and all that (it had a rushed pacing, actually, it happens with most action episodes), it gets a lot better once they don't need to cram so many things in 44 minutes.

It was the first two though... I still recall the screams of "Oh, but you have to watch both! Its a two-parter!"
I'm not sure how much better a series of crazed horses with friendship powers can get...

That's the thing, the "friendship powers" are very rarely featured. The rest of the episodes are slice-of-life (think friends), exploring each character and shit.

But we're derailing the thread, I think.
