RE: The Challenge: Season 5
I'm not fully blaming the players, nor did my post insist that. I understand if most of the blame is shifted on me. Believe me, I understand the flak. If I was in your shoes, I would've been complaining from early on.
I'll give the ne'er-do-wells until I wake up tomorrow to vote, although the result will not change. Then, I promise an end message and a challenge tomorrow. You want faster pace? We're getting it.
idk how you can hold me to my promise, as that hasn't stopped me in the past from breaking it. At this point I'm pissed at myself for this. I was hoping things would transition smoothly when I announced that I would host again, but I did so without thought that I would be the problem (like last time). In that regard, I apologize. The excitement I saw when people played the reboot raised my spirits, and thus raised my desire to jump back in the spotlight.
A lot of the slack can be blamed on the "story" aspect. I understand some of you may not care for this, as it really has done nothing besides adding flavor. I would like to note that it does serve significance which will be expanded on. Due to this, I have no desire to ditch it to conserve time and dish out challenges faster. Instead, I plan to hand over the creative process to someone else while I focus on delivering the challenges. More details during the next challenge.
