I would like to host the last couple of challenges, if PG24 doesn't return. You know that I love punctuality and soeed, and my computer trouble has been worked out so I'll be able to upload really quickly.
It's just that I put a lot of time and effort into this game, and even though I decided to pull out a few weeks ago, I would like to see this game come to a fair end. You may think that I am biased towards certain players, but I get on well with all of the remaining players, actually. TBF I organized every elimination in this season, so it would be only good friends left!
If you want, Drohn, I can run my challenges by you so you can make sure they are not biased, but you also know that I hate fixing things so... IDK. Of course, if everyone wants a new season, there's no reason to keep this one going, but PG24 is pretty much in charge of these competitions and the hosts thus far have been chosen by him, so it might even be more respectful to finish this one first. IDK though, what do you guys think?

I'd prefer if this season was finished as quite a lot of months were put into this game. I'm sure we can find someone to host a few more challenges.

Well, out of the 4 remaining players, 2 of them want it to continue, 1 is neutral, and 1 hasn't said anything, so I think it's safe to say we're going to continue this. PP and Celever both volunteered to host this game. Between the 2 of you, would one of you prefer to host this game, and the other apply for to host the next Challenge?

Well, personally I'd prefer to host the whole of Season 6, but I have no doubt in my mind that Prof P would as well...
I think the fairest way to decide would be to have the community vote for who they want to host the next season. Prof P has already done it twice, so he has the experience,but both of his games ended either not at all or with a couple unsatisfied players but I would still really like a chance to host it... My computer situation has been sorted out, and I'm much more active than Prof P (plus I never sleep! (o3O)) so I guess we will just have to wait and see how it goes.
MtC, would you mind having all of the votes sent to you? I just want what the wider community wants, and this is one of the most noticeable and hugest games we run here, and the host is essential to the game, so I think they should have a say in such a crucial decision.

All things considered, I know nothing about rock, and would prefer a certain amount of freedom when creating the challenges. I do have this sort of template for a possible challenge in mind though. It would really start the competition with a bang...
I'm not sure who I would like as a co-host. In the end I want someone who isn't planning on taking part, but would be interested in co-hosting anyway. The game I have in mind would have 25 people (5 more than the standard) and I don't really know how many would actually be interested in this subforum now...
Also MtC, I am staying at my Grandmother's house for this first week of school because my car broke and I go to school a fair way away from my home (basically a 3 hour walk. Not doing that) so this application thing would have to wait until the weekend. Please don't pick a host before then!
Edit: Hell-raising with Cobalt Phoenix sounds like a lot of fun! ^_^

Good to see a few people interested in running this thing.
I just got back from class so I'm really tired, but I have an idea that might be able to satisfy Celly (stealing that forever btw), Cobalt and I while still getting Season 5 done and Season 6 started. Gimme a few hours to iron out a few details and I'll send a proposal to Celly and Cobalt tonight or tomorrow.

I think that MtC and Muffin were a little more half-hearted about it though.
If you are serious about hosting we could try it as some kind of threesome, but it would probably fall into arguing tbh. I think that CP and I work very well together (as evidenced by our alliance getting into lategame this season) so it would be more of a healthy season.
I'm also just going to say right now that I would prefer to (co-)host the whole season or none of it. No silly switching in the middle stuff!. I like to see everything I do through to the end, which is always why I have so much to do... I start everything 9.9

We've (as in Bippa and myself) worked together on a earlier rendition of The Challenge. On top of that, he's had the most experience with running one of these shindigs. I dunno, I'm okay with him joining our hosting duties.

I could help you try and keep the theme going. I know a lot of basic information on 1930-50s rock mostly around some of the bigger influences on current music like Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Cab Calloway, and other people like that. Maybe I could be the Assistant Host were I just help with the little things if you want me to.

@MtC and Keeper: I've sent an outline of my plans to Celly, Cobalt Phoenix and professorlight (he wanted to co-host with me so I think it's fair to include him). We'll be ironing out the details and will hopefully have a plan to send to you guys and the rest of the forum games staff by the weekend.
