Meh. This is why alliances are for nerds and people who don't want to play the game for themselves. One of the few times it's good to be forever alone. :^)

Cobalt, that is a thing of nightmares.

I'm afraid to ask where you got that, because it might mean that there is someone out there drawing pictures of the human ponies laughing at salads... in which case I think it would be a good moment to just push the nuclear holocaust button and start society from a blank slate.

Machamp the Champion: "Yeah, but those messages were a little self-conceited, don't you think?"

A little tempered by the response, the Lucario waved his hand in the air. Immediately, a ray of light came down on Machamp the Champion. Everyone was blinded by the intense light. When it subsided, Machamp the Champion was gone. Interestingly, there was no message of god being good this time around.

Ruk: "Now then, shall we move on?"

THE CHALLENGE:

  • I hope all you guys are used to sending in votes to me, because you're going to have to do it again. This time, you are all to send me a list of three players currently in the game. It doesn't matter what order you put them in, just give me three names.
  • Send in your votes by the 29th at 11:59 PM EST.
  • The two people whose names are sent in the most will battle it out on Pokemon Showdown.
  • If you don't send in anything to me, I'm adding four votes to your name. I'm tired of people thinking they can get by doing nothing.
  • Since not everyone is used to playing competitively, they will battle it out in random battle. They will play best of five, meaning the person who wins three games first will win.
  • Since this is to be an exciting challenge, the loser will be eliminated. The winner will receive an immunity for the next challenge.

If you guys want to be completely and utterly bloodthirsty:

Choose a good VGC player. Choose two people who have absolutely no idea how to competitively battle.

Done, challenge over.

I actually did this in one of the first two seasons iirc. The concept is that you're sending off people you want to be eliminated, but in a way that also backfires since one of them gets an immunity.

I know it's nightmarish. I said the exact same about Equestria Girls...
