Pokemon Online lets you guys do Gen 1 matches, which is a lot easier than using PS for Gen 1 matches and accounting for items, natures, EVs, abilities, moves that didnt exist, the physical special split, dark/steel/fairy types, type chart changes, etc. I would recommend using that instead.

I'd just like to note that I'm rooting for Athena. After trying to get you out for so long - I've got to say that you deserve the win and I want to see it happen.

I'm not for anyone ATM but it will be interesting to see how this goes. I've watched this thread since the new thread was made and i'm going to see it finish!

I'd actually like any of them to be the winners. They both showed true potential since the start because we were all in the best team ever, but regardless of the outcome, is a great win for the Diamonds! :D

oh man pokemon battling? this is going to be really tough since I don't play pokemon, but also with timing.

I play Pokémon but only casually, so don't worry; I don't have any idea what I'm doing either. :p Let's go ahead and plan for this time tomorrow? I do have skype; my username is ladykirie. My Showdown username is Lemina.

Well, at least the battle will be fair, I guess.

I'm sure that in the time that it takes until the duel, rev3rsor could even get pokemon red and get far enough to get some experience.

Rev and I got in touch via Skype and we'll be hosting the match tomorrow, so we should have results around 24 hours from this post.

Ohyeah, anyone who wants to join, we're aiming to start around 9am my time (Central Euro) which is 5pm rev's time (East Coast Aussie), or 3am American Eastern time. My showdown name is Lemina and rev's is rev3rsor (nice and easy!). Since the PB server is still down, we'll probably be in the main lobby, I guess.

Oh man. RBY battling is a totally different beast than what we're used to. There're all kinds of different mechanics, type-advantages, weaknesses, etc that while G1 is vastly primitive compared to G6, it has enough nuances to throw a veteran for a loop. If you need some info, type "RBY OU" into Google and follow the second link for a very useful article.

If someone can tell us how to make a link, we'll post it. Neither rev nor I are really into battling or anything so we're pretty noobish at Showdown.
