Winterbells!
1. Winterbells.
2. Here. I think it's also on android.
3. You jump a predetermined and consistent height as a rabbit, making sure to touch white, slightly ethereal bells on your ascent. If you fail to touch a white, slightly ethereal bell, you will fall, your run will end and your final score will be provided.
4. Score.
5. It's literally the most basic game in the world.
6. Basically, the issue with this challenge for me is that whatever game is elected, one person will have had experience with or played before, because they have to nominate it to be the challenge themselves. So I sorta went with a game which I find quite fun, is incredibly generic, and one which you don't really improve greatly at with practice. If you've ever played like, doodle jump, happy jump, the little 16-bit game in Splatoon... that's Winterbells. Oh, and birds are double points. Such an exciting, differentiating gimmick! It's basic enough for skill to shine through, but also not deep enough to require loads of time investment to hone your skills over.
7. Reveillak! The Challesian winter holiday, held on the winter solstice, is all about communing with spirits and the dead. Is there really a game that encompasses the
spirit of the holiday more than a rabbit trying to reach great heights by jumping on bells? Of course not! Naturally it's all symbolic of the acceptance of the dead which the people who are celebrating the festival are experiencing. Each bell is a memory of the loved one which they cherish, and the bunny bouncing off of the bell is a metaphor for them moving on from those memories, as the bells disappear when the rabbit touches them. The greater the height, the greater the height of the wellbeing of the living and the more successful the final grieving process!
