It's time for your first official morning update! I plan on posting chain updates twice a day so everyone knows how the various teams stand.
FOR THE RECORD: This post does NOT count as a post in terms of YPPY rules. You must still have 2 actual players post before you are allowed to make another post.
The current highest chains for all teams as of post #697 are:
Xanadu Taniwha: 13
Amber Phoenixes: 3
Aureolin Amphisbaenae: 2
Palatinate Cynogryphons: 1
If you think your team has a higher chain than is listed here (and was made before this post), please message me privately with the number that you believe is the total chained post and a link to the 1st post in the chain so I can double-check it.
This challenge has gone through approx. 1/6th of its life span. As stated at the beginning of the challenge, this particular challenge will be ending on Thursday, January 14th at 8:00pm CET. That is the same as 7:00pm GMT, 2:00pm Eastern US time, 11:00am Pacific US time, or approximately the same time as the starting challenge post in your own time zone.

PS: For the record, if people YPY instead of YPPY or whatever those secondary posts simply don't count. I'm not going to penalize people for making them since it's relatively easy to make mistakes, especially with forum lag and such.
PPS: I'm only counting posts and not actually reading them so if there's something that requires my attention, feel free to tag me and I will go back and look for tagged posts after I've finished counting chains.
