OH MAI GAWD. I figured it out while I was mowing the lawn.
The answer is Julius Caesar.

Jewel+E does equal Julie. All of the competitors live in america. It's US. Julie+Us= Julius. You SEE with an I. SEE+SEARCH is pretty close to Caesar.
