Yeah I guess. I don't even know if what I sent him would be considered an essay though. =P At least I tried right...? :3Yoshidude10 said:Hey, Afro-G, don't be down on yourself. Like TDL said, as long as you send something thoughtful in, he'll be happy.

I don’t have a title for this, but if you want one, I guess it can be “Lolwott?”
Being part of The Challenge II has been a rather...interesting experience, to say the least. (That’s probably a massive understatement.) I had known that the first Challenge game was a huge hit, having all sorts of random round objectives, pitting would-be friends against one another in an effort to be the best, combining teamwork and rivalry, everyone aiming to be Numbah Wan.
It’s like Total Drama Island times Wario-Ware, squared.
By the time I actually heard about it, the first Challenge was down to the final four, so I couldn’t join in. However as soon as The Challenge II got released I threw my hat into the ring, with the intent of using my amazing ninja powers to guide my team to victory. Whatever capacity I could help in, I’d assist my team leader to help us win the challenges. However, in the process of set-up, and naming team leaders, I ended up getting nominated and then quickly ushered in to the position of team leader, effectively making myself the absolute head of the now-christened “Team Ninja”.
As usual, I blame Catutie for this. He nominated me, the coward.
Since then, I did my best to act like a leader, even though I’m not that good of a leader personality, but I can force myself to act like one if need be. And for the most part, it worked – with ninja-like speed, I and my team jumped to a strong lead over our opposition Team Nightmare, winning challenge after challenge and forcing Nightmare’s numbers down. We were able to rally our allies quite effectively, creating a united front to systematically win each challenge that came our way.
And then that’s when it happened – Team Ninja realized that they weren’t invincible; Nightmare won several challenges in a row as well, and as a result we had to fight for our survival to prevent from being snuffed out, but it was no use – we’d lost our thunder. Everyone else around me seemed to slow down, leaving me as the only real ninja on our team. As such, we got dubbed Team Gliscor by several people from both teams. Sadly, I agree with them. (It’s a pity that Gliscor has to be the butt of everybody’s jokes, but I digress.)
So now it’s time to break the teams down. It’s finally every man for himself, and I predict that in the end The Challenge II will be exactly what most people at the beginning predicted it would be: an all-out no-holds-barred fight against myself and Guy89, Team Nightmare’s headstrong dictatorial leader.
All I can say is bring it on so I can leave you in my ninja dust.
This game is amazing so far. It's just a very well developed game that works out great thanks to an amazing host in TDL. It makes for a dramatic, twist turning game that no other game can match. I'm really glad that I get the pleasure of playing the amazing TDL's The Challenge 2, after not having the privilege last game.
I thought that my team was superb, no matter how much we might disagree or go in a different direction we would always be able to bond together and win any challenge that we set our mind to. I feel like at the beginning Team Nightmare wasn't organized well. But thanks to TDL's fantastic idea to do some team trading I feel like we were able to make the team into something that could compete and not have to eliminate anyone ever again.
I feel like I should address every member individually so that no one feels left out if I don't mention them specifically. First, Bippa201, Beeps is really awesome and he was kind of the Co-Leader of the team. He would take charge and control things when I wasn't. Even though we had an argument during his attempted coup, I still feel like he was one of the best members of Team Nightmare. Secondly, I'll mention xdogking. I don't feel like a really ever did anything with xdog during The Game but I know he was a contributing writer and would always be willing to help out the team with his superior knowledge of everything related to trivia. Next, HypnoticLuxray, my de facto leader, he never really acted as a leader. He never really took charge and was kind of a follower for the team. But I know he tried to help and did during the first writing challenge and that he was my spy after the coup. Fourth, catutie, he wasn't very active for the team and sometimes I forget he was even there, I really think that he needs to come back on so I can hurt him for being inactive with the team. Fifth, Afro-G, I never really give him credit for anything and I make fun of him all of the time (I'm an active supporter of Cyberbullying him). Despite that I think he's not a bad guy and really bring some humor to the team and I don't think that the game would have been as fun without him there. The final team member left, I turn my attention to oyeah1988, one of the coolest game corner people ever. He was helping with every challenge and was always a good proponent of the team. He's also really cool for being the only person to publicly stand by me after the coup. Now I'd like to mention pokemon99, though he wasn't on Team Nightmare after Challenge Four, he was a big part of our team. He was a spy more or less for us, even after getting rid of him, he stayed loyal to us and would help us in the team's Skype channel, he was definitely not a full ninja. Lastly, I'd like to mention my favorite member of Team Nightmare of them all, TDL. Though he was only on the team for one challenge, he's amazingly super amazing and should be treated with the most respect of anyone on this list. Overall, I thought the team was awesome and I wish that we could continue teams now to continue working with these guys.
Ah, the challenges, the heart of The Challenge (Why else would it be called The Challenge?). The first challenge was really frustrating, being really quickly and all, trying to organize the team, especially with me being late to the part, as I was doing something that day and Ninja had a really large head start of Nightmare. It really set the tone for the first few challenges as we were a messed up team in the door challenges, and the PokéBeach Parody challenge. We were very dysfunctional while Ninja was high functioning and efficient. By far my favorite challenge of the whole seasons was TDL’s Mixing it Up Challenge. I loved being able to strategically making the team better by “tricking” so to say the other team and sacrificing the win of that challenge so that the team would be better in the long run. All of safari’s mini challenges were really stupid and wasting of time, I honestly wished we had never even taken the time to do them, as they were nothing compared to TDL’s regular challenges. The next few challenges were really fun, for example, Make TDL Lawl. I feel like it was really awesome to work together to make something that was just funny and appealing to an audience (Like a mini You Laugh, You Lose). The other really fun ones were Pass the Torch (just because of the sweeping win from Nightmare) and TCG+VG+Chess. I was really happy with the last one because we finally found some use for Hyperbeem and myself with chess. After that Hyperbeem was really dead weight and useless to our team. The Werewolf/ Mafia game was really tedious and took way to long to be this early in the game, especially with teams. The rules were a little bit distorted and led to our controlling of the game, I think that if I hadn’t gotten bored out of my mind with killing our own guys, I would have let HL and win and Ninja would have had one less person on their team. The trying to beat TDL challenge was especially hard with TDL’s superior battling skills and no one on Team Nightmare had any chance to defeat anything that TDL threw at them on the competitive battling side of PokéBeach. Overall, I feel like most of the challenges have been really good, though I think the teams got in the way (with some lagging and others clicking on all cylinders) and am looking forward to the challenges in the future on an individual standpoint. btw TDL is amazing.
So I should probably start here by mentioning how much fun the Season 1 Challenge was. I definitely loved every aspect of it, and I followed the entire season, even though I was eliminated before the merge. The challenges were great to play, and it was very active so everyone could pay attention instead of deserting it. Everybody had a fun time and Safariblade did great and won the whole thing.
Compared to Season 1, Season 2 has been a bit more bland, and part of it has been my fault from taking so long in the most recent challenge. Season 2 definitely surprised me, but I wasn't on my toes like I was for Season 1. The challenges were still fine, but activity challenges can get really tough to play during the school year, so I suggest for the next season, you start in June or something, so we have the summer to play the whole thing, rather than waiting for one person to finish their assignment. Also, I think the fact you had to make an activity modkill shows that you need to be more careful choosing who you let play, possibly a list of requirements each player has to fulfill in order to play. This is, of course, only speculation, but I think you could definitely crack down on the way you let players join the game, instead of just letting random people play. Don't be afraid to be strict once in a while. Wink
The teams were definitely equal until the challenge where the captains switched people on teams. I think you have an underlying talent for separating people into groups, and you should keep it up (also, you should use the same application form for next season). The teams are still somewhat equal, but as shown by the most recent challenge, Team Nightmare is definitely much more active than Team Ninja, so I definitely think it was wise for you to split up the teams. Both team leaders were great in my perspective, and I think you have the captain choosing thing again, because DNA is an excellent captain.
The challenges were interesting to say, at the least. Pick A Door, Any Door was a very funny challenge, and it should definitely stay to be in future seasons. The writing challenges definitely needed a specific deadline, because we should have been guaranteed a loss for that recent challenge. Let's Mix It Up was pretty obvious, it should definitely stay, but I didn't like the idea of Make TDL Lawl challenge. The reason is, I don't think that our idea of humor should be judged by one person, and some people have different forms of humor than others, and some people laugh at different things than others. The Pokemon challenge was good, as it tested the skills of the competitive players, and TROLOLOL and Pass the Torch were pointless challenges that basically gave Team Nightmare wins. But for the most part, the challenges were enjoyable, and I'm having a great time so far.
Thank you for listening to me, and I hope you appreciate my views on The Challenge so far.
