So is camping in SWAT considered unsportsmanlike behavior? I camped in a great spot and got 30+ kills, only to be sent a quite vulgar message and my rep being dropped.

Honestly, I think my rep has been hit hard when I spawn killed and went 32 and 1 (K/D) in snipers for spawn killing. I think people are just unsportmanly with that. I mean it would have been just as easy to kill me by shooting me once...

Ah OK I was just wondering if there was like some unspoken rule about camping haha.
I finished out a map of mine today. While it's not the best, I think it's pretty cool. I only wish I didn't use the Erosion pallet... Gosh that thing is ugly and monotone. Next time I'm on I'll take some pictures for you guys and maybe we can playtest. :3
What many gamers refer to as "camping" is actually just controlling the map. For example, if you're on top of the building in Complex and you're picking off dudes from across the map, that's not camping. If you're huddled in a corner in swat and the same guy keeps running up to try an kill you after you ambushed him the first time, then you're probably going to get some nasty messages from him.
Oh, and sorry I haven't been on much lately, peeps. My gold account has probably already ran out, and I've been playing a lot of Borderlands 2 and MW3 on PS3 lately, so Halo's taken a back seat in that department. If by chance that my gold is still up, please feel free to ask for a game whenever you see me on.
The map I was talking about earlier is up on my fileshare now. Grinder, is a symmetrical recommended 3v3 map that supports Slayer, Oddball and KOTH. Although it's quite ugly in the Erosion pallet, I think it will provide some interesting experiences.
Here are some screens:
Central building
The structure in in upper right-hand corner is the Red Spawn. The Blue Spawn (not pictured) is mirrored on the other side.
Note the trenches in these pictures. In most places they are just deep enough you cannot jump out of them. They run the perimeter of the map, and cut it into quarters. They meet in the center underneath the building where there is a jump pad to take you to the top.
The teleporter in the bottom of the structure show here will take you to the top. The man cannon in the bottom left corner will launch you to it's corresponding spawn structure. (One on each side of the map for each spawn)
