The Languages Thread

My first language is English. I also took japanese for two years and am presently taking German. In the past I've taken Mandarin, Spanish, and American Sign Language as mandatory classes, and I hardly remember any of them.
I would like to either go in to Japanese 2 (again, since I need a lot of review) or German 2 next year.
 
I know English as my first language then I learned Korean because I'm Korean. Then I'm learning spanish in school and I'm teaching myself Japanese and my dad sometimes helps me with it because he took it in College along with German.
 
I speak English obviously. I have studied Japanese off and on for 5 years and traveled there twice for further study. I currently live in Japan. I have studied Chinese for a year but I am very rusty. I know enough Korean to be able to visit and get around. I am not a linguist at all but I would like to begin studying Italian some day.

Yeah, I was expecting it to be hard. But my mother did it in two years when she lived there, and otherwise ice got nothing to aim for.
