Could M. Night slaughter the awesome show anymore? That movie is on my top list of worst movies ever. I have no idea why I went to the midnight showing. I was so excited and it couldn't have dissapointed anymore. Terrible actnig, lame fight scenes, mispronouncing of names, rushed story, lammmeeeee ending. Woww.... what are your thoughts on it?

Screw seeing last airbender. They changed too much from the show, miscast as a white supremacy (basically) and the acting blows and 3D sucks. I can't even believe I thought it would be good. Never again Shaymalan, never again.

Yeah, pretty much. I was expecting so much better but I don't know why.

The last airbender looks stupid. The TV show was too.

i have always loved the last airbender i watched every episode and i really want 2 see the movie

I'm a fan of the original show, which is why I refuse to even look at that disgrace of a movie.

Same went for Dragonball Evolution, these live action movies are really bad, and the people they hire to direct them is even worse.

I wonder how Teen Titans is going to turn out. ._.

DC does not have the best track record for movies. If you doubt me, go watch Jonah Hex.

You know I thought the movie was terrible. But what can you do. I knew it wouldn't be as near as good as the show. The story was terrible, they skipped some major plot lines. I don't remember seeign the kyoshi warriors, Avatar Roku, or any of that good stuff. I was so mad that they showed the fire lord often. They showed him in the show, but only in silhouettes. They never revealed his face till season 3. I just hope that they don't butcher season 2, because to me that is a very important season. With Toph, and Azula and everything. I also hated the person who played the role of sokka. Where was the funny, comic relief character we all knew and loved?

He took out of the humor out of the movie (the director) because he wanted a full serious film LOL.

Let's look at the list of great cartoons/games that Hollywood has ruined.
-Street Fighter
-Superman
-DragonBall
-Batman
-Mario
-AVATAR

Kindly add to the list. <_<

The effects look good in the commercials, but I really don't think I want to go see this movie...I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD, because that way I can at least rent it and return it instead of wasting money to see it at the theatre. Sad fact of the matter is, almost no live-action movies actually hold up to the cartoon/game/etc. they're supposed to be based on, so my sentiments are the same as all the nay-sayers.

I didn't go see this because I knew it would be a letdown. Lets hope that when the series comes back its fan base won't be affected by the terrible movie.
But in reply to Bonsly, they technically weren't mispronouncing the names because the writer wanted it to be more realistic, although I do find that very annoying. From what I could tell of the commercials, the fighting scenes were boring. Overall, this movie was terrible and I didn't even have to see it to say that >_>

The show was awesome! But they tried to make it TO serious. The actors made me want to throw up, I laughed when serious parts came up because they were so terribly done. I really do think they did this all with one take, no rehearsing or anything :X This was just a double face palm...

Didn't even watch the movie yet. Probably will wait till it comes out on DVD or something. After hearing people say it was bad and reading some reviews I decided not to watch it. I also used to watch the show.

I'm just going to forget this movie ever happened and keep the glory of the original Avatar: The Last Airbender in my head.

Horrible, horrible movie. I suspected it would be bad, but decided to go see it anyways. Bad acting, absolutely no character development, they cut out important and favorite episodes, the fight scenes were bad, they changed a lot from the series, and they barely used 3D AT ALL. I literally facepalmed.

Yeah, I didn't bother seeing it in 3-D. What movie REALLY uses/needs 3-D? I can pretty much say avatar and that's it. (James Cameron's FYI haha)

I heard the credits were really the only good thing in 3D. Now that's really sad.

That is what I wondered.
