The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Remake

Ehh... WW is a good game, but I'm personally not interested in buying a remake as the original still looks fantastic to this day. And so help me if Nintendo decides to implement the waggle controls that made SS unbearable.

I'd love a MM remake as much as the next guy, perhaps moreso as it's my favourite game of all time, but I feel as though it would be better reserved for the 3DS where the OOT remake already resides.

Why do you not like SS? It was so vibrant and was so fun. The only thing I didn't like was fighting the imprisoned over and over, and some of the boss battles were so grand in scale (the mike wizowski's girlfriend from monsters inc, the giant gold statue with knives)

Only thing I didn't like was they reused so many bosses (ghirahim 3 times, improsoned 3 times)

I mentioned this in the Skype chat but I may as well repeat it here for anyone who didn't catch it.

I fully expect WW to be a completely remade game. Miyamoto had said that WW was unfinished and a lot of content was cut to be rushed out on time for the release date. Stuff like the Fire and Ice arrows (Iron Boots too? Correct me if I'm wrong) were going to have a full dungeon each and Hyrule was going to be its own overworld. The Triforce charts were going to be their own dungeons too; similar to the first game.

I wouldn't be too surprised if the decision to remake WW was based on the fact that Miyamoto had regretted releasing it when it wasn't finished. Either way WW was a great game as it is and I'll respect whichever decision he makes in that wonderful little mind of his.

The only way they could screw this up is if they force in the horrific controls from SS like bacon says.

According to most news sites, the Gamepad is the main controller, so I don't think we'll have to worry about the controls.

I didn't think SS had that bad of controls....but that might be why I liked TP more than SS (even though I HATED filling the stupid spirit vessel thing in TP and they made it a bit more bearable in SS but I don't understand why they brought it back)

Wait WW was unfinished? That's the first time I heard that. That's pretty amazing, that game is already huge and there is soooo much to do (ever went to all the islands? Completing the whole map is a challenge in itself)

If they made a dungeon for each triforce piece then the game would be one of if not the biggest Loz game ever.

I don't know if they'd expand it quite that much, but I fully expect them to address some things with the Triforce charts, yeah. I don't really think they were too tedious as much as too difficult to find.

This is awesome, WW being one of my favorite games and all. My only reservations are the characters... instead of cel shaded, they're almost clay-like. I'm unsure if I'll latch onto this (I hope so), but even if I do, I think I'll still prefer the old style.

And the bloom... they certainly didn't spare anything in that respect. That's not necessarily a bad thing, though.

It's definitely awesome that WW is getting a remake for the Wii U. I've never played it, so if I get a Wii U it will be a new, exciting experience for me. I do have to say, though, that I would rather have a MM remake. It just seems right to remake MM first as it was made before WW and now it's much more difficult to get to play it, even with Virtual Console. Virtual Console is awesome, but you can't use your Gamecube controllers for the Wii U so you have to buy a classic controller, which is a pain in the butt if you ask me. Anyways, I am quite excited to see the WW remake even if MM would be a better choice to remake. Then again they might just be making a remake of MM for the 3DS.
