If your contemplating a Wii, now would be a good time to buy one. Now they're only $200, and a lot of stores are having holiday deals. Be warned, though. A lot of Wii games are shovelware. So, if your looking for a selection with limited shovelware and all hardcore games, you better go with a PS3. But, most people on the beach now whats good and not good on Wii, so if you do get one, ask around for game ideas (NSMBWii should be a no brainer).

I can't afford one and will not be able to until they drop to about $100.00 or less. So I can't get a Wii at this time or I would have had one a long time ago.:)

Just thought I'd post this really cool GT.com vid of a Tales of Monkey Island "so far" vid. It's really cool, and not too plot giving. Hope it convinces some more people to try it out. Well, here it is!

Welcome KK! A little friend of mine (technically my little bro's friend, but were all friends right?) ordered some wii points and wants to now what good stuff to buy. So NEW TOPIC. Can everyone (who owns a wii) tell me what VC/Wiiware game they would recommend to a 8-10 year old?

My pick would be World of Goo.

Really sorry guy's but my computers crashed, AGAIN! (this is the 7th time) I'm not sure when but I am getting a mac but until then, the co's are in charge.
BTW Welcome to the Clan Kingdra King! :D

List so far:
World of Goo
Super Mario Kart
Lost Winds
Lost Winds: Winter of the Melodias
Sin and Punishment
Kirby and the Crystal Shards
Paper Mario

Keep 'em coming!

Your still a co-leader. Welcome back! We need you to help run the operation since mariomaniac's computer is down and the other co-leaders are kinda lazy. Btw, what VC/wiiware game would you recommend for a 8-10 year old?

You know, that comment really hurts. I think the word you're looking for is busy, and there's hardly any discussion here anyway.

dmaster out.

Yeah you mean busy with school right? I really hope you did not mean lazy because if you did remember one thing. Not everyone can be active and I bet Santa Clause is watching you XD. Hmmm Should we give him coal or a video game? lets see maybe coal from that post XD.LOL Anyway now that that is over for a 10 year old kid on the Wii I would recommend Super Smash Bros or Pokemon for sure and as a standard Mario Bros. Anything that does not have shooting or anything serious should be recommended.:)

I could except busy with school, busy with work, etc. Dmaster does enough work on the beach anyway. Looking forward to seeing him in pink! (meaning a super moderator, not a pink shirt)

Weeeeeeeeeell lets see. I wouldn't give that to some crazy little kid, but the child in question is mature enough. Remember, some yong children are like

and some are like

Well of course I meant school. >__> But I mean other things besides being online and school, like a real life you know? Of course I'm not lazy. It just takes a while to juggle things at once.

Anyway, I'm nearly broke from buying Guitar Hero 5 and the TMNT Smash game. I've played GH a little bit and I'm liking it so far. Haven't even had time to play TMNT.

Yeah can get pretty busy sometimes but would like to see you wearing a pink Username. XD. Don't worry it is coming. It is a matter of time. Anyway on topic and to more serious things. Smash Bros is an E for everyone so any game that has the E rating is for everyone and that includes little kds too.:)
