The only platformers I've liked are the Super Mario Land series, the music was incredible for its time.

I really love the Mario sports, and I can't wait to see what they can do with the Wii.

Yeah Mario has come along way trumping over Bowser about 50 times and then Wario 4 or 5 times. So he has been on a few missions and also Tatanga 2 times so he has had a rough going. They need to make it a bit easier so I can at least complete a Mario game besides Mario Party DS. That was the only one I actually finished.:)

Ehh, sorry, I saw mariomaniac's status thing and it brought back old memories.

As for news, Punch Out!! will be released next week, it looks like a pretty solid game and a good revival of an old game. Virtua Tennis (which is known for its realistic...everything) took a cartoonish approach and looks like a not-so-polished version of Wii Sport's Tennis game. So I suggest not buying it.
That's pretty much it for Wii.
The only thing DS has going is the new G/S remake, but just go the G/S Remake Clan for that.

SUPAH MARIO GALAXY as new topic.

It's elegant, IMO flawless, and one of the Wii's best games. I will fight anyone that says otherwise.

Super Mario Galaxy is a good game, mr.619 and me are workig on are files right now.

How is the gameplay compared to Sunshine and Super Mario 64? Do you get to have the jet pack and wings? Also Does Yoshi make an appearance in the game? If so when?:)

It's a bit like them both, actually. You have to collect all of the stars (or whatever it is at the end, excuse my bad memory, haven't played in a awhile). However, it still has some different elements to it, for example the Trickster Comet that gives you a different challenge each time. Wings, in a way, yes. It is a cap that makes Mario fly, minus the wings. No jetpack. Yoshi doesn't make an appearance, if I remeber correctly.

Awesome! I hope some revivals com this season.
Anyway, SMG is good, but a little childish.

SMG is one of the best Mario games. Period. Definately best since Mario 64

Yeah, I'm picking up Punch Out!! next week when school gets out. It's an amazing revival of an amazing series.

OK guys, there have been rumors of a new mario game coming out on Wii along with Zelda Wii. Do you guys think that this is true or not. If you think it's true, discuss what you think will be in the game and so on and so on.

Not really a rumor. It was at E3 last year. There are new Mario and Zelda games coming out for the Wii. The only real question is WHEN? Obviously this should be addressed at E3 this year.
