RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

lol thanx infmach!

BTW here's a topic:

What was the most exciting E3 Nintendo Wii game announcement and why?

New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Metroid: Other M
Zelda confirmation/art

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

The most exciting was definetly SMG2 because all fans loved SMG and we're dying for a sequel. Also, the fact that Yoshi is playable will "reel" many more fans back to Mario.

It is ok, you are not a machine.
*turns mariomaniac off*
Anyway, I believe New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be great for ze olde players who had the chance to play the first one.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

Well, I am a newbie to New Super Mario Bros, but the only reason why I bought it was because I REALLY want to get the Wii version. Looks GREAT!

And I actually haven't played too much of SMG...yeah, kinda sad, but I am hoping to be getting some more money to buy it. =) Maybe after I play it, I may be a bit more excited. =P

EDIT: OVER 10,000 VIEWS HERE! =D Sorry...I like all those things...=P

I would have to say Metroid: Other M would be the game I am most excited about. The addition of Team Ninja to the Metroid universe could take the series in very new and fresh directions. The more "hardcore" feel of the game brings something long overdue to a Nintendo franchise. Also, the added back-story of Samus and how she came to become who she is has lots of potential to be a great story.

NSMBWii looks really fun if you can play with the full four people, but it looks kinda dull playing it by yourself. As for me, it seems like a big hassle to invite a bunch of people over and have a big party every time I wanted to have fun with the game.

SMG2 is too much the same as the original SMG for my tastes. I can't really see how things will be different than the old SMG. A few different powerups? Yoshi? New levels? In my opinion, I don't see enough of a difference to justify dropping the cold hard cash for something that is almost exactly the same as what I already have.

As far as the new Zelda game goes, hardly anything was released. A concept art picture? Big deal. We already knew Nintendo had to be making another Zelda game. The only thing that picture does is start the conversation as to what the next game will be like. Too much uncertainty right now to really get me excited. Although the thought of Wii Motion Plus swordplay and archery in a Zelda game does sound really fun.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

Worst Day Ever Today (electronically speaking)

My Wii stopped reading my discs, so we had to drive to the nearest place that sold those drive cleaner thingys (which took us 2 hours one way). We got back and the thingy didn't work. So now we have to send our Wii to be repaired which takes like 2 months.

ugh >_<

Did I ever mention I hate my DS now?

That is exactly what I feel the most. I mean if it would be another NEW game for the franchise, then cool. But for a big hit, na ah. Now you might think "but New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the sequel of some Mario games", yeah you are right. But the game was not released yesterday or today, it is a game from the 80's.

IS YOSHI PLAYABLE?WOOT!

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

The only thing I don't like about NSMB Wii is that there's a yellow and blue toadstool. For crying out loud, why not use Wario and Waluigi? or at least the classic red toadstool... oh well, at least Yoshi is playable...

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

I'm back from my trip from St. Louis. ;o

Nintendo? Bankrupt? Those words don't resonate with me or that company. x_x Maybe in a few centuries, but definately not soon.

Most exicting E3 announcement would have to be SMG2. Most surprising would be Metroid, but we have nothing more to expect. With SMG2, we know we're going to get an amazing game here.

dmaster out.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

Sigh...I wish I had enough money to get SMG...=( Stupid mowing job doesn't rake in the dough fast enough. =P

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

I miss Donkey Kong.
Nintendo should put Donkey Kong 64 on the Virtual Console.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

(The following post is off topic, though it is still very much about Nintendo)

TOMORROW is when we find out our gifts from Club Nintendo! I hope the Gold status gets something good...sigh...I am only like a Wii and a DS game away from Platinum, but I don't have the money. =(

Did anyone get the prize last year? If so, what were they?

Yeah, or make a new DK game. An awesome character IMO, one of the first from Nintendo.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

I heard the Koopalings will be bosses in NSMB Wii. This is great news IMO. I never really liked Bowser Jr.

dmaster out.

So, a brawler? Nice, of course you are in!

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

Everything was exicting but my favorite was Mario Galaxy 2.

RE: The Nintendo Clan | Home of the Hardcore

So, here's a question.

Should I get SMG? I don't have it yet and I finally have the money, but I kinda want to save it.

Also, if I save it, I can just get SMG2. What do you all think?
