I also liked the trampoline event in M&S 1, as well as Swimming and Hurdles. I have the DS version and <3 10m Platform (Diving)

There was a demo for the DS one at Circuit City, but I got bored waiting through the tutorial so I never got to play it.
How about that 10,000m dive in the Wii version? That was super cool.

Tales Of Monkey Island just came out for WiiWare and I really want it, but I don't have any points.

Seeing Guybrush with a goatee is too different for my taste though.
All pirates have facial hair and Guybrush is like the exact oppisite of a pirate.
So why give him facial hair?

Anyway, why don't we let the cos in training to take care of the clan, if there is too much problem, I can come here to check stuff.

So I'm replaying Pearl for the thousandth time and I realized how much I hate the 4th generation of Pokemon.
This game just doesn't have that charm the other games had, it's too much of the same.
And there's BARELY an ocean.

Platinum is IMHO the worst portable Pokemon game to date. Here's hoping HG and SS rekindle my interest in the series.

I am so deeply in love with Fire Emblem atm. I'm watching gameplay of all of the ones released in English, and am calling all second-hand stores in my area to see if they have any.

The Wii Fire Emblem that came out awhile back looked pretty good. Is it 2D or 3D?

It's 2.5D. 3D Combat but 2D on the field, map, and cutscenes. I recommend the GC one over the Wii. DS is ok.

Ahh, that's lame.
I was watching this video on YouTube of a Dodgeball game, and if somebody were to build on the idea, use Motion Plus, up the graphics, make a character creator, make it first person and make some online multiplayer, I might buy it.

I found the Wii FE to be very fun, and, unlike most games, I don't mind playing it 42 times. The DS one is very meh, but I had fun with it as well (It needed better weapons).

Oh and that dodgeball thing looked cool

I don't have FE, but it got a rating 3 out of 5, so it must be decent...
Anyway, the only downfall to the dodgeball game that Struby didn't state is it looked to me like the computer would be pretty tough :/

Ehh, I disagree. The Wii version isn't remotely better than the GC version. They're virtually the same game. No widescreen support and no vast upgrade to graphics, gameplay, or story. On the other hand, the DS version is a much needed upgrade to the remake. It includes touch screen support (a first for the FE series in the U.S.) and while the story is vastly archaic, the gameplay is as fun as ever.

They're both virtually the same? I guess that does make a lot of sense, but you already explained most of it.

Too bad my Wii is shot and I lost my save file, or I'd be playing it ATM. :(
