hax clause no items that rely on luck
no pokemon clause can`t have 2 of the same pokemon in a tema ie no 2 chimcars in a team
uber clause no ubers

I really don't know why I'm posting here; I'm not getting active again or anything. I guess I'm just bored.

Right now I'm not all that excited about BiS, but that's mainly because I'm a little leery of the "BiS" part. I heard somewhere that you can use the bros. outside of Bowser as well as inside, so maybe it won't be so bad. Does anyone know if Bros. attacks are back? The Bros. items on PiT were okay, but the Bros. attacks from the original were so much more fun.

Really, the main thing I care about is the story and atmosphere, so if they're good, I'm sold.

Some of you should get Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. I've been playing it to death the past couple weekends, and it's a wonderful game. The Curious Village was great, but this one expands on everything that CV did, so it's even better. Plus, you gotta love Layton and Luke. ;p

...Has anyone here played Layton at all?


EDIT: Yeah, sorry, I didn't read more than one page back, so I didn't see that the Diabolical Box was already talked about.

You know I could do the tourney as well. I can guarantee I'd come in last, but I know how to work one.

Luke is the worst character I've ever seen in a video game. Nah, jk. But he is still super annoying that I want to punch his lights out.

Anyway, yes, I've played the series and I love the games. Still playing Diabolical Box, but I of course love the game. With other games coming out though, it may have to be put on hold...

Layton is the bee's knees, he's like Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones.
The first one was amazing. When I watched the scene with the ferris wheel, I had to get new pants.
It was that fantastic.
The only thing I didn't like was the way you went about exploring.
I'm not big on point and click adventures.

Question: BiS can be played on the regular DS Lite, right? Cuz I don't have a DSi.

Yeah, it's a regular Nintendo DS game. You can play it on any Nintendo DS system.

Awesome! Gameplay looks amazing, apparently you get to choose either Mario & Luigi or Bowser. I think Bros attacks might still be in this one, seeing as Bowser is capable of using an attack where he sets Goombas on flame and then throw them at enemies. At least, it reminded me of a Bros Attack. :p

Fawful is confirmed, too.

Edit:
Mario Bros can use Fire Power, too.

I can't believe HG and SS hasn't come up yet.
Got the rom, beat that old guy on top of Sprout Tower, it crashed, forgot to save, got bored. The End.
I'll probably just wait until it comes out in engrish.

Did anyone else watch Kanye West's foolishness on the VMA's???
If it were SSBB, I'd falcon pawnch him straight in the face.
