the womens diving competition was interesting to me, china was beating us by alot
 
The US women's gymnastics team was quite impressive yesterday (even if I slept though half of it).

By the way, the track and field events begin today with the men's shot put and, most importantly, the preliminary runs for the men's 100-meter dash. Definitely a must-see!
 
Yeah, track and field should be good. Only about one more week to go. ;(

I would like to congratulate not only the greatest Olympian of all time, but quite possibly the greatest athelete there has ever been, Michael Phelps. 8 for 8 in gold medals, 7 for 8 in world records, 16 total Olympic medals (14 of those gold) and he's still not done- he could win more in London. Congratulations Michael, you truly are superman.
 
Pretty much everything that needed to be said cheetor586. ;) The Olympics started at 8 on 8/8/08 and Michael Phelps has gone 8 for 8 Gold Medals. ;D

Michael Phelps will probably go down as the greatest swimmer of all time. And he's not even 25...
 
China dominates in Diving, but it's still entertaining to watch.

Yeah, it's entertaining to see who gets Silver and Bronze

US still leads in total medals. But, China has the most golds
 
I like almost any event in the Olympics, but Basketball is my favorite.
We won another gold! Go USA!

The US has throttled every opponent and with Germany, the US gave up the least amount of points in the enitre Olympics (57). And the US as averaged about 103.3 PPG

We'll win gold for sure with those numbers. Not to mention they have one of the greatest college coaches of all time as the head coach
 
I can't believe Canada Men lost the Trampoline Gold Medal by 0.3 points. .-.
Looks like America won both Gold and Sivler Medals in Women's Balance Beam.
