The Perfect Start

I run DGX/PGX and I was just playing a friend's Speedrill. I have 12 basic pokemon in the deck. Despite that, I couldn't draw a basic two hands in a row. Then, the third time, I get a Baltoy, Bronzong G, 2 Unknown G, Promocroak, NM, and Warp Point. This is easily the worst start I've had in a while. I draw 5 basics and no supporters. Has anyone had a worse start?
 
once i had a unkwong g start, 5 energy, and an ssu. My opponent had 2 dialgas, and a palkia. I was like "this is going to be fun..."

I did that at nationals, except that it was 5 energy and a warp point. I was playing a flygon deck.

I don't know. You got a high HP basic with a free retreat cost. And the parts to get a gengar the second you get a ghastly. Could be worse in my book.
 
Next 5 turns, what do I draw into? If I remember, I think it was a Nidoran or something. And my opponent had everything setup by that time. Thanks to Maternal Comfort, I was able to survive another few more turns until I got a Baltoy and Claydol, but I still lost:/

Your opponent had a worse start. They had an Azelf start and 2 WEEDLE were prized. You also forgot to mention that you top decked a Cyrus so that you were more or less set up by turn 2. The Speedrill player on the other hand, although they had all 2 Bees that he could set up out by turn 2 also, was only able to do 60 damage. In addition to this, you did not get a single tails on Promocroak's power (he got like 5 heads) and you Poketurned Dialga 2 times, stopping them from getting a ko until about turn 10. And yet through all this, you still managed to lose.

And you seem to have forgotten to mention the fact that because I was poketurning things, I had no time to attach any energy to do decent damage. My opponent ended up retreating and using the RR Beedrill's attack to paralyze me.
 
Stop crying. You attacked every other turn. Attach energy and energy gain to Dialga with Promocroak out. Speedrill does 60 to Pomocroak. You use its power, get heads like always, send up Dialga, attach energy, and Second Strike. Speedrill does 60 to Dialga. Poketurn Dialga, send up Promocroak, and repeat. Speedrill only attacked wih RR Beedrill because you killed his only GE Bee.
 
Game 3 top 16 in regionals I had a hand with a corphish start, a furret, and a bunch of energies, drew a stadium as my mulligan card. However, I accidentally drew it before I put my prizes out, so I got a warning, put the card back, shuffled, put my prizes out, and then drew my mulligan card, which was a Sentret, which allowed me to sweep my opponent. lol ALMOST the worst start ever?
 
I once started with an Azelf, Uxie, two Night Maintenance, 2 PlusPower, and a Rare Candy. And I didn't draw into a supporter until turn five. Can you guess what I was playing? =P
