I don't think it was ever really a rule. We aren't really attacking each other (I suppose you could interpret me attacking you a few pages back), or trolling. Honestly, does everyone have any problem with revenge killing, since it IS fair play?

It was never a rule:

DQ's: You get DQ'd if you Troll, Attack, or form clans. Making peace treaties: I.E. "If you stop hurting Genesect I'll stop hurting Ferrothorn" is allowed, but if there is any "Heal this Pokemon! or Let's make a team!", it's not allowed. DQ'd people may post, but if they give lists it doesn't count.

We aren't attacking, forming clans or trolling.
Plus, saying no revenge is like saying 'You cannot defend your Pokémon. It just dies eventually if it isn't good enough to be many peoples favourites.'

But, mostly the reasons that people give of why they hurt a Pokémon are STUPID.

Example: "He started to heal it, so because I want my Pokémon to win, I started to hurt it for no reason."

EDIT: Look at this @Teal:

Alternate forms may compete in every competition that suits them, but only 1 will advance. The last one to be voted first advances. EX If Wormadam (Trash Cloak) and Wormadam (Sand Cloak) are voted first, and Steel is the first competition and Ground is the last, the Sand cloak would advance.

No, actually what happens:

Example: "He had gotten a good lead on my Pokémon, so I started to hurt it to damage the competition. And without the revenge rule, they can hurt my Pokémon back, so it's fair play" :/

OR

"This person is hurting my favourite Pokémon. I should start hurting them, since their Pokémon has less health, and I can easily beat him."

There 100% was, it was put in place because Reggie didn't like that a certain Eeveelution fan ran all of his favourite Pokemon into the ground.
