People were still jerks after the rule additions, though, keep that in mind. I'm not against allowing hurts back in for the finale, but we'll have to be very strict about things if we allow it.

What caused arguments was people taking the game too seriously. Hurts weren't the problem. The lenient rules were. Allowing people to make treaties, and actually discuss a YPPY with such detail as to create 30 posts about it on some people's profile, and to talk strategy about future rounds was the problem.

Not the hurts.

To add on to this, basically what I'm doing right now with people healing Noivern was the problem.

I didn't know we were allowed to request things to make them happen. Let's change everyone in the final to an Eeveelution.
Two going through really doesn't make sense though, the WC is basically the losers bracket and only one can win.

If you do bring back hurts it'll only be for the final round which means you can dole out all the warnings you want and it won't have to require a continued effort because it's only one round. :)

It's not about the effort it takes us; we have to moderate the game either way. It's that we want to prevent arguments and fights. This "solution" (me hosting all the rounds) is taking me much more time than it would have taken me to warn/ban all the people causing issues.

Warn/ban all the people that cause issues in the final :)
Win/win, you don't have to spend so much time on it and we get the hurting back.

I think you completely missed what I was just trying to tell you. We don't want to purposely provoke situations where we likely have to warn/ban people. We want to PREVENT that, even if it takes more time that way. :p
