Nido walked over to the bits of the egg. He held up a piece, and looked inside.
"You know, the pokemon in New Bark Town couldn't figure out where this egg came from. Many people thought that there was going to be a little boy Nidoran. But.. I'll never know. When Nida died. I was put in charge of the egg. I couldn't take so much responsibility, and so much hurt. I ran away. I'm a fraud, Kaiserchu. I didn't run away to find the rebellion. I ran away to get away from my past. I thought, for sure, that this house was still intact. That's why I wanted to come here. But now, that, it's buried. It feels like, a fruitless effort."
Nido closely held the bear as he cried.
"This, was Nida's old stuffed bear. She said it reminded her of me, because I was full of talk. If you remember, I barely had any good moves when I met you guys. But, it was our little joke. This is the only thing I have left of her."
Nido put the egg shell and his bear in the bag.
