The Pokemon Ranger Questions and Answers Thread (WARNING: Post game spoilers!)

Jolteon is found at the top of the Wireless Tower after Raikou has been captured. (At least, around that time...)

Is there an easy way to do the odd temple by yourself?

edit: are you on the one where you have to press a switch, go back and up the other side to press another switch and rinse and repeat until you have four starly? If that is the one you mean, then it is possible to do it by yourself. However, you will NOT be S-ranking it, and you will have to get an action replay with the one loop capture ON, and do the same thing. However, it will not be easy. I'm sorry, but cheating is the only way you can do that mission alone.

Oh, and I already have the cheat for using dual and quad switches with one person, it's just the damn ninetales that I have trouble with.

Well, the Ninetales just need levelling. I would do what they suggest and try to get to level 25. Getting through at level 30 is easy. I can't do it yet because my little bro doesn't have the game, but even if he were level 1, I would use him just to step on the switches. Level 30 and up is the easiest way to deal with the pokemon.

Oh, I meant catching up to the ninetails. I'm level 50+ so I can easily capture the ninetails once I get to them.

I was wondering, do you have to have others go in with you through wireless connection in order to really play in the 'medieval times' (for lack of a better term)?

And also, when you charge your styler in sign mode and call a pokemon with the charge, what differences are there?

No, you don't need others to play wireless multiplayer. Other people just make it easier, and let you get bonuses in the levels. However, you do need them for the Deoxys mission, and you might need them on certain levels.

Charging your styler when calling the beasts make most of the Pokemon around you panic, in the manner that they will run away from you. Charging for Lati@s makes it fly faster, apparently, and charging for any of the normal friend Pokemon, like Bidoof or Yanma, apparently makes their Poke Assist better.

You have to charge the Lati sign to be able to catch up to Togekiss and Honchkrow.

Also, using charged signs to summon the beasts don't make the nearby Pokémon run away - it makes them stand still.
