Okay so how does Friend Safari even work? Do you actually have to get someone else that has X/Y to connect with your game, or...? I've never gotten a shiny (aside from shiny Torchic from SRing in AS, but that's not full-odds) in XYORAS... and I want one xD.

Any person that has given you their Friend Code will cause a Friend Safari to appear in Kiloude City. Their code determines the Type of Pokemon that will appear. Once you've registered someone as a Friend on your 3DS, just head to their Friend Safari and run around in the grass until you find a shiny. There's no method other than running around, haha.

So now I've gotten 3 FS shinies. Shelgon, Ponyta, and Klang. The Klang has amazing IVs, the Ponyta has crappy IVs, and I don't know about the Shelgon since I haven't transferred it up yet.

Ponyta and Klang were less than 5 hours apart.

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who struggled with Kyogre. :p. I also struggled a ton with Rayquaza, but that doesn't totally count because I switched games halfway through. Lol.
 
I lost my Ultra Sun copy but via the GTS I got a shiny Giratina. That is the one shiny I have in that game. I tried to SR for a shiny Popplio when I got my Sun copy(I started with Moon.) but I don't have the patience for it.

On Tuesday I found a shiny Omanyte at 3,734 fossil resets. I was resetting 10 fossils at a time.


It’s my second fossil reset shiny after Aerodactyl appeared at 656 fossil revives. And it’s my 10th full odds shiny hunt shiny in XY.

I started this hunt at the end of November.

Yeah! Full-odds Shiny Sentret via LeafGreen! I chucked my Master Ball to be safe since my SP has a nasty habit of randomly shutting-off sometimes.

Sentret was the very first Pokémon I caught when I started playing the Pokémon games, so I've named her Uno for now. Might change it later. EDIT: Changed her name to Noa.

A part of me wants to keep her in Gen. III since I've found the fewest number of Shinies on those games, but I'll probably transfer her to HGSS so she can follow me around.

I can hardly wait to evolve her. Shiny Furret is the cutest! >w<

Since my last post, I've been working on shinies in Y. I've gotten Shelgon, Ponyta, Klang, Lampent, Phantump, and Masquerain from Friend Safari, and Poliwhirl, Luvdisc, Horsea, and Skrelp (like 20 minutes before this post actually) from chain fishing. Right now I'm working on Shellder
 
Well in Ultra Sun these are what i can think of right of the top of my head
Absol (Full odds not even trying my first shiny EVER) Several Heliolisk a Barbaracle 2-3 Medicham's
