Intense mode is awesome. Boss Battles on Intense is insane. I beat after like 2 weeks of trying and finally rounded out my trophy collection! I train against the level 9 CPUs for the tourney. I can't train online because of the lag and trolls :p.

EDIT: Why did the tourney suddenly switch to Single elim? Does that mean Yoshidude is out for good?

I was looking over the OP and I'm wondering soemthing: how come castle siege is a viable stage for tournaments? During transitions and the second area there is floor all the way off of the stage so chain grabs or something can net cheap KOs. Also, the transition to the third stage will occasioanlly randomly put someone under the stage, which most character cannot recover from.

The transition is only around for ~5 seconds, so its not a giant problem when compare to stages like Bridge of Eldin and Green Hill Zone. And I've never heard of anyone being put under the third transformation, and it seems impossible for that to happen.

:O I'm out? So those the losers got to play in the Losers Bracker and I don't? :( Well, I can't complain. I can understand why you would do this, of course. Speeding up the tournament will be better this time around. Good luck superpokemon67 and PDC!

Um... it makes sense. The first round splits you up into brackets. After that, why would we have more double elimination?

Get your matches done.

And if you can't, then don't sign up for the next tourney. >_>

Well, HL and Rock Wrecker can't Brawl until the deadline, so there's that.

Chillarmy has PMed Gliscor. Tomorrow, I'll check and see what's happened.

Remember, you are allowed to make activity posts. If you have more than your opponent my the deadline, you'll win the set, and be given 20 points on the leaderboard (while your opponent loses 20).

Oh, and speaking of the next tournament, expect one about the middle of September. :D

This tournament only has two more rounds left.

Don't worry Safari, HL and I only couldn't get our matches because I was at Disneyland the one of two days HL could play. We're going to work out a time on the deadline day.

Well currently, we're waiting for the losers bracket to play their games. Though at this rate, I might just stop giving second chances now. >.<

I did find something interesting today while looking through Brawl sites; the possibility of Meta Knight being banned. We can discuss this, mostly just their character in general.

So, bring on Meta Knight discussion.

The transition may be only 5-10 seconds so its hard to do it then, but the second stage in it is there for a 1.5-2 minutes so it's not that tough. I myself have been put under the stage in the third transition and I've seen it happen to other people in youtube videos as well. I'm not quite sure how it happens, you may have to be going downwards or something, not really sure. Also, the statues in the second stage absorb hits which can change the match.

It's double elimination, so if you subbed, it really wouldn't be fair to you. Besides, in the first round, many lost because of not getting their matches done. We should keep it the same for everyone.

As for Meta Knight discussion, the metagame gets so much healthier without him around, and many characters get a new lease on life with their biggest problem being gone.

My vacation was cut short due to Hurricane Irene. We were forced to evacuate, and now I'm back at my house. Good news: I have access to Brawl a day or so early.

Towards the Meta Knight discussion, I prefer that Meta Knight be gone, but sometimes I can handle them (unless they're a super pro or something). I've been practicing against Level 9 Meta Knights for a while, and their speed it outstanding, which is one of the main reasons why I don't like him anyway.

Off-topic: Sorry HL. Hurricane Irene may get my PR cancelled, so you may not be the only one affected by it.

I don't think you can determine a character's capabilities based on how a CPU handles them. I personally think CPU Luigi's are far better than MKs even though a good MK is better than Luigi. I'd like him banned because I might be in the next round if xdogkind didn't use him on me, but that's just me. I also hate his tornado attack, how it's impossible to cancel it by hitting it with an attack, it drains your shield, and its easily spammable.

Just because the official tournaments ban MK doesn't mean that we ban MK.

If that does happen, we'll decide a course of action.
