As I am a Steeler fan myself.

Steelers made history. You know nothing about the Steelers.

Are you from Pittsburgh? No.
lol so if I'm not from Europe, I know nothing about WWII? If I'm not from America, I don't know about the current president? Please, google allows me to get nearly anything you know online in an instant. :/ Anyways, what I'll never understand is why they kept Gandy in there after he got 3 holding calls against him. Clearly he wasn't doing his job and he screwed his team badly.

Google? What is that?

Screw the Steelers. Bruce Springsteen totally won the game. Did you see him KO that camera?

The refs won!The refs won! They clearly wanted the steelers to win, not reviewing the fumble, that roughing the passer when Ben threw right when the guy was next to him. And besides that point they had a player who could've been charged with assault on the one punt. Or maybe it was Santoino not getting called for excessive celebration. I am not a cards fan but clearly you steeler fans this super bowl was rigged just like the last one you won. So if 2 super bowls are rigged it clearly means the steelers cheat(not that it surprises me though).

You are completely wrong. All of you are completely wrong.

Look all the way back at the beginning when Big Ben made that touchdown. Huh???

They didn't call that a touchdown. When that actually was.

It was an AWESOME game!! Even though i missed the first 15 mins. Cooking Won-Tons for my family. but GO BIG BEN!! 100yrd Touch Down!!!!!

My first post back from a long time, hope to be posting more often.

But i am from Pittsburgh and that game was AWESOME!

All of those people who are saying the Cardinals got cheeted don't just say it, tell me how they got cheated by the reffs. I can see how on that final play but thats it. The ruffing the passer it would have been fine but he threw out his arms and hit him. The roughing the holder, the holder is a back up QB they will always protect him and he should've made at least an attempt to go around him. Ummm trying to think of what else to refute... ummm... I don't know post another one I will tell you what I think. These all also match the opinion of my dad who reffed for 35 years and taught a bunch of the guys who work the playoff games.

Can I add Ive been watching ESPN all day and they only play there was any question was the last play, but apparently they did go to the booth, they just saw the answer and they told the head reff to not call the official review.

I am not trying to start a fight, I am just stating my opinion.

Also GREAT game by the Cards I've always loved Warner and Fitzgerald and they both did awesome! Ahh only another year till the Steelers can go for it again!

EDIT: Also me at school today

Yes me in a terrible towel skirt :)

EDIT:EDIT: Ok I didn't see that Celebration but I don't know if the reffs saw it or not, you always have to remember that

Completely agreed. That halftime was way better than a couple years ago. >__> Although the Cardinals won the game in my mind, but oh well.

dmaster out.

Steelers are much better than most other football teams, and if you are looking for history, the Steelers are the best. I am a Steelers fan from Leechburg (Right outside of Pittsuburg). The defense is superb and they have a great offense. They deserved the win over the Cardinals (who are a joke). Although there were plenty of flags (some of which were unneeded) it didn't really effect the game too much. I did have some problems with the call of "Personal Foul Unneeded Roughness" during the attempted field goal. That was the only call that wasn't deserved. There was the first coast to coast in Superbowl History and the late game drive was amazing. The game was great and I'm glad that the Steelers can go down in history. At least Ben is a respectable QB unlike some *coughcoughPeytoncoughcoughManningcoughcoughTomcoughBradycough*

Also the last Super Bowl that the Steelers won was completely legit. They played a great game and the NFL recalled the ruling against Palamalu's Interception which makes the Steelers win even more.

Bruce was bad. He's getting around 165 years old and I don't care about watching an old guy get tired on stage. Why can't we have someone a little more youthful like Janet Jackson lol. It's her fault that we have had Civil War vets. playing in the halftime show for the last couple of years.

The officiating left alot to be desired. As for the halftime show. Do you put it on for the people watching in the stadium or for the people watching at home?

Steelers...boy oh boy. Did they get lucky on some calls. How can you NOT eject James Harrison after literally beating down some guy who did almost NOTHING!? And the 100 yd. TD? DANG, I'm not going to lie, but pathetic...on Warner's part. How can you throw an interception when all you need to do is run it 6 feet!? Santonio Holmes' game winning catch? Another one. THREE guys were near Holmes, not one stuck to him like glue. (A good catch, I must admit).

Fitzpatrick gave Cardinals a chance. Unfortunately, things didn't turn out for them the way they expected.

The steelers offence? X_x they don't have a passing game thats feared in any way and thier rushing is good but not uber. The flags didn't change the game? Flags nearly always affect the game and both holds KILLED the cards drives. :/ And how is big ben a better QB than Brady or a more respectable one? Brady won 3 super bowls with 0 good recievers, has all time records in several categories, is a 1st round hall of famer (I guess ben is now too with 2 wins but doesn't have great numbers so not early), a great role model that doesn't brag or say he's better than the team and preaches what sports is about. :/

Also, Bruce Springsteen is never bad. :/ lol -10 cool points.

I said that the Steelers had a great offense. That doesn't mean that they have anywhere near the best offense. Ben is one of the only QBs who will run with any consistancy, which adds an interesting twist to the already decent offense. Ben has much more stability and he can take a hit and salvage a play easily. Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes are both above average recievers, and the Steelers have a great running game too. They may not be the first thing that comes to mind when somebody says "offense" but they still bring something to the table. The Steelers focus more on their defense, and as they say, "defense is the best offense". Ben is still new to the game, so he has a chance to prove that he is better, and right now he still is a hall-o-famer. Brady has never been the one to talk during the season, but during the so called "dynasty" Brady was as much of a Superstar as Obama was during campaign season. I can see Ben having a similar issue, he is now looking at a huge popularity boost, even among non-Steeler fans.

I have never liked Bruce, and I think that the SuperBowl needs to make some stirdes to capture some more youthful people. The SuperBowl should be something for people of all ages. The older people have already become part of their own team, but the more youthful people need something for them to look forward to.

Bruce was alright in my book. They should put, like, different bands with their hit singles. Like Coldplay with Viva la Vida as an example. Foxtrot, if Steelers didn't have a great offense, they wouldn't have won the Super Bowl because they would have never gotten so far down field as when Santonio could've made that catch.

The refs love the Steelers, and they've loved them for the entire year. I can just see them on the side lines, pulling out their little yellow flags and waving them around, pretending that there really "Terrible Towels". -.-

I just love how people are jumping on the whole flags thing...

You know that one 40yd pass that the Cardinals had? Look in the middle Polamalu was being held and he could have broke up the play.

If you think the reffs were on the Steelers' side PLEASE just give me proof and I'll think about it, but no proof, me no thinky

Also remember the Steelers had the roughest schedule this year. The Cards were not expected to get past the first round of the play-offs, so before you complain think for a second.

^So are you one of those guys from germany who denys the holocaust happened? Or are you a chinese govenment offical? lol no proof=no thinky=phail.

Coldplay sucks now with thier crap single and just prove that a semi-good band can become a sellout and make millions. The steelers one because they had a great defence. But if you're goin to sit here and say the steelers were in the top 5+ in offence in the league, I'm just goin to laugh at you. The cards had a better offence. They just got killed by the refees.

Yes guys, please give me proof that the refs were on Steelers side. The refs were not with the Steelers, I actually thought the refs were on the Cardinals side.

MUCKSTER: Whoo! Terrible Towel! :D:D:D:D

Ok, so their artist selection is sort-of lacking. That's fine, what were you watching on Sunday afternoon? A football game or a singing show? Get real. Let Bruce have his one and only time on stage, for the very first time mind you, and go pout about your music elsewhere. I personally liked football a lot more...

dmaster out.

Bruce Springsteen is an awesome singer but I wish the Cardinals had won because 3 years ago the Steeler cheated against the Seattle Seahawks. It was on our news for about 2 weeks before they finally quit talking about it. After seeing what the Steelers did 3 years ago I had wished the Cardinals had won. However it was a legit win this year and it was a close game though.:)

Professional sports as a whole are a cess pool for poor and often times hippocritical values. It provides terrible "role models" to those foolish enough to look up to such an athlete, and as was proven by Phelps lately, just because we don't know about it doesn't mean they aren't screwing up.

EDIT: Oh, and Bruce's halftime show hurt my ears. He was bad enough when he could pause between words rather than "oooohhhhilikethefozsehnstreetletsgowalk ingdownthestreet". Ugh.
