I don't know if any of you have the same name for the window when you click the link even though it is pretty obvious he did steal it.

Making Darkrai a non-holo rare means you have to get rid of Butterfree and Beedrill (they will definitely be printed together). That also means you have to get rid of their prevos, which are all common. You can only replace one of them (Swablu). What are you going to put in the three empty spots? Dawn Stadium can't happen and neither can Eevee. Special Energy come after Trainers, so the three Energy are out. Your only option is to steal something like Energy Search or Double Full Heal from - dun da da daaaaa! - entry pack.

Also, after taking a closer look after finding I didn't have Baltoy, I was also missing Wingull and Snubbull. That helps. Now the only cards that don't belong are Pikachu and Raichu.

Not exactly true, since Nidoqueen and Nidoking were printed in diffrent sets.

Good point. However, Nidoqueen and Nidoking been printed together every time with the exception of Aquapolis/Skyridge.

However... Beedrill and Butterfree have not. They've actually been printed separately more often than not, only appearing together in FRLG and Neo Discovery. So because of that, I'm more inclined to think they will be separated again. That's a lot of commons.

Altaria could fit over either Beedrill or Butterfree, and Swablu has no problem taking one of Caterpie's spot, but there's nothing you can put in Metapod's spot unless you do some more thieving, or for some random reason decide to put in Clamperl or Slugma with no evolution.

Are you positive that the pellipper isn't a rare? Also do you know if Rotom is a foil or just a rare?

Absolutely certain. The Pelipper in my list is from Moon Hunting/Night Dashing, which is uncommon.

Rotom is confirmed as 7/106, and comes before 16/106 Dialga, which confirms it is rare holo. It's also rare holo in Moon Hunting/Night Dashing.

Actually, there is a small possibility that Pelipper will be a Rare Card because if you realize, the Jynx in SD was only a common card BUT it became a Rare Card in the Secret Wonders...

Okay! After reviewing the list, I've changed a few things around.

First and foremost, Pikachu and Raichu are gone. No more entry pack cards! :D

Since Porygon2 is locked into place, I can't turn anything uncommon that comes before him, since Huntail, Gorebyss, and Magcargo were already removed to make space. The latter 3 Pokemon can't be rare because they all come between Dialga and Palkia and all the regular rares in this set currently take up that space.

Secret Wonders had five uncommon Unown and no common Unown. I believe that they will follow the same pattern for GE, so Unown L has been moved up to the uncommons, in the wrong spot I see, so I'll have to fix it as soon as I post this.

Seviper and Zangoose are now both uncommon.

To fill the spots in the common section, I brought back Delibird and used Chatot from the DP4 theme deck (with a bunch of our stuff in SW like Electivire, Roserade, and Magmortar that also has GE cards like Latias, Latios, and others not in the main set).

Chatot hasn't been printed since Diamond & Pearl, so I thought he made a good choice.

I tried to make room for Buizel and Floatzel, but couldn't do it.

Lol, and MT/SW. Cause I sure don't see a SW Nidoqueen XD. It looks pretty good PMJ. I'm gonna laugh if we get the eeveelutions, fossils, Floatzel line and Altaria line by some random miracle. That'd just be funny. But as far as predetriming goes, this looks solid. Though I still think Floatzel needs a spot :p.

Well yeah, I thought that the MT/SW difference was implied.

And as for a random miracle, yeah, I'm thinking we'll see something that strays from this list a whole bunch. Aerodactyl is definitely out though... no chance whatsoever for him. As for the others, really... with what we know, and the basis being on legendary Pokemon, I doubt we'll see that random miracle.

I'm shooting for at least half right. I'm pretty sure I got all the holos nailed, and the rares should also be spot on unless they pull a Jynx, which is highly unlikely.

I don't like the fact that I only have 11 holos. My current rare count is 25, and that seems to be normal for the most part. For comparison, DP has 17 holos and 25 rares, MT has 18 holos and 22 rares, and SW has 20 holos and 24 rares. It would be very unusual for GE to only have 11 holo cards, wouldn't it?

Holo cards I omitted from the set:

Pachirisu. With Cresselia and Porygon-Z only having 3 cards between them, it was a fight between him and Phione for a spot. Phione doesn't have a card yet, so I gave the spot to him.

Darkrai, from DP3. He suffers from the "I fall between Cresselia and Porygon-Z" disease, and so now he's gotta fight with Mewtwo and Phione/Pachirisu for a spot. There's already one Darkrai in the set - we don't know which - so I don't think we'll get two. We're already getting one, plus Darkrai LV.X, so I think that two is going a bit overboard.

Glaceon and Leafeon. They both are sick with Darkrai's illness. They aren't legendary at all, so... no shot.

Kabutops. The new method to get fossils into play makes me think they'll (Kabutops, Omastar, and Aerodactyl) all be together, and he caught the sickness from Leafeon. He's out.

So... unless some random card that comes after Togekiss alphabetically, becomes holo, GE should really only have 11 rares in it.

There are also some cards from the theme deck I didn't use that weren't in SW, like:

Aipom and Ambipom
Glameow and Purugly
Buizel and Floatzel
Energy Restore
Energy Switch

None of those could solve the low holofoil count, though.

I'm thinking Mewtwo will be in DP5. Espicially if we get the Lv.X. Isn't it possible that we get both Pachirisu and Phione instead of Mewtwo.

That's a possibility.

However, there was no Honchkrow in Secret Wonders, but there was a Honchkrow LV.X.

Murkrow was present, though.

Mewtwo LV.X being in DP 5 is a good argument for keeping Mewtwo out.

But the focus is on legendary Pokemon. Hm...

There we're also no Lucario and ELectivire for the Lv.X in MT. Oh well I guess I want Pachirisu too much.

I know the focus is on Legendary Pokemon but we already have: Palkia, Dialga, Darkrai, Cressilia with all their Lv.X, if Phione comes out then Phione, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Latias, Latios. TO me that seems like enough

So I have to say I think Dialga will be the first non-holo rare knowing it will mess up the list but it will give more for holos.

Dialga can't be the first non-holo rare. Everything that comes before Dialga also comes before Cresselia, and Cress is #2. Blaziken has to be in the first spot. He's the only holo card that comes before Cress alphabetically. Turning one of the non-holos into a holo would completely annihilate this list and now that you said that I'm starting to think that something along that line is going to happen. ;/

If the object is to have a set filled with legendary Pokemon, why would you sell yourself short? I wouldn't. The only reason I would include Mewtwo in this list is just because of the set focusing on legendaries. Otherwise, I'd agree completely with you and switch out Mewtwo for Pachirisu.

But you know, Mewtwo doesn't have an English DP-on card yet, and Pachirisu does. +1 for Mewtwo

I wish we had at least one more confirmed scan to work with. I'd feel so much better about this list if said scan was located correctly. :p

Well, when prereleases roll around, I'm sure we'll be getting scans by the dozen, and we'll see just how close the list is to the real one.

Yes, if we had at least one more scan, we would really see of you list is very accurate or very off. Maybe when they reveal Darkrai, we'll get a Darkrai scan.

About the first post on this page: Illness from Darkrai, lol.

I'm surprised no one's said anything.

Darkrai has been confirmed as #4 in the set, and wouldn't you know it, it's the one from Shining Darkness. I simply erased Mewtwo to give Darkrai his spot (looks like we'll be getting him in DP5).

There's only one card that can fill the gap between #2 Cresselia and #4 Darkrai, and that's another Darkrai, the one from Moon Hunting/Night Dashing.

Since the scans will be rolling in soon enough, I'm sure, I'll not edit this list anymore.

Let's see how many I get right.
