I think the title should speak for itself, but to elaborate a bit, I got to thinking recently about all the games that have been released over the years for all types of different systems (of which, I'm sure everyone would agree, there are tons of; some better, some worse). But, it occured to me, that of all the things out there, how many could actually probably be called "the weirdest game ever?" While I know there are some really bad titles, not all of them are automatically bad just because they're different. This isn't to say their lost gems, either, but I'm a little curious as to what people would really consider to be the strangest game they've ever played.
For me, this would be a Super NES game known as "Lemmings." The goal of the game was to try and save as many of these green-haired imp-like creatures from the depths of a dungeon as quickly as one could by assigning them different tasks to do in order to avoid all kinds of traps and snares along the way (other than giving the creatures jobs to do, the things paced back and forth across the sidescrolling field map aimlessly). While I can't say much about that style of gameplay, I have to admit that I found it to be kind of addicting...
