RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 3

I'm glad the Russians were finally defeated after dominating figure skating for 12 Olympics. Let someone else win for once lol.

I'm happy too, IDK how you can fall and not be like last, that annoys me a bit, but hey also 18-0 over slovakia that makes me laugh. Also I hope Apollo wins tommorrow.

RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 4

yay canada won in.... snowboard cross?? whats that?

and by the way its day 5 according to 680 news

RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 4

Russia's a hockey juggernaut. They have the best player on the ice (Ovechkin). And don't say Crosby, because Ovie has pretty much single handedly revived the Capitals franchise. Crosby has Malkin, Hossa and Fluerry, which a decent supporting cast.

Crosby revived the Pens franchise. and Ovie has had help, I mean if he was the best there was, he would've been a captain 2nd year. But no, he was officially named captain this year. And Offense doesn't win games in hockey, its all about Defense. Marc Andre-Fleury won't let Ovie score on Team Canada.

RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 5

Today my Chorus teacher let us watch the olympics and curling was on. Now I love watching curling. The only bad part about curling is the US women's team is not the greatest.

RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 5

I have to wonder how the other snowboarders feel about having their scores crushed by a victory run...

It was an impressive victory run.

RE: The Winter Olympics Thread Day 5

That was amazing in the halfpipe! Shaun White, on his first jump 2 feet over the lift chairs! And that Double McTwist! Easy Gold!
