The Portuguese (including me) spended a lot of time tweaking and testing this deck, so it was really awesome to see it win. When we saw the Top 4 was only Darkrai/Mewtwos we were very confident because the deck has a positive matchup against it.

Also, Igor had a very bad luck on game 3 with his hands, so I guess it was kind of fair for Harrison to have that Shaymin prized (also a misplay by him to not know his options).

Anyways, I hope this helps to grow the game in Europe and especially Portugal.

IGOR COSTA!!!

I called Terrakion win in at least one division, congrats to all the winners, runner-up, ect.

I'm happy the "Great White North" got SOMETHING. Kind of confused about Portugal, though. I didn't even know there was enough Pokemon hype in Portugal for a World Champion to come out of. Weird...

....And then US SWEPT the VG section.

If I'm not mistaken, it was a Speed Darkrai that ZekEels beat in Seniors.

We have some very good players in Portugal, but unfortunately we only get 1 paid-trip so basically we only get 3 players at Worlds each year. In Juniors we are kinda weak, but in Seniors and Masters I think we are strong (including me in Seniors :p ), as proved this year.
