XY The WORST Possiblities for the New Mewtwo Form

So I keep reading about how this new Mewtwo-esque Pokemon somehow manages to ruin the pre-established and highly beloved Mewtwo. I don't understand this logic but am interested in how other people are viewing this new character based on the little information we have.

Based purely on speculation and hypotheticals, what would you guys consider to be the worst possible scenario revealed about this character? What would behave to be so bad that it would make you swear off the franchise, in terms of this character only? Do you have a hope against a scenario that you feel would be the WORST way to handle this new Pokemon? Please share!

Note that the new thing is already confirmed to be a form (OR IS IT?), so basically, discuss what the worst possibilites for the new form would be. -Chariblaze
 
The worst thing I can think of this thing being is a purely aesthetic difference like Resolute Form Keldeo.
 
Ugh, don't remind me about the Keldeo. That was disappointing. That's probably really the only way they could ruin it besides obvious things like Defeatist / Truant / Slow Start. Personally I want it to be just a physical version of Mewtwo but I'm putting money on it just being slightly faster with maybe lower defenses, which actually would be pretty disappointing too now that I think about it. It'd just be sad to see a weaker Mewtwo but making it any stronger could just break it. Who knows, though. They could really do anything since looks don't really determine stats and I'm just thinking out loud at this point.
 
Sadly, Mewtwos stats don't really allow for "alternate" stats for this design... I mean one thing would be making a physical version of mewtwo, but now its either barely different or more sweeper-ish/broken with spAtk remaining its main offense :S
 
I agree that the purely aesthetic changes are useless and tend to build non-existent hype. I feel like those changes should not even exist within the context of the Pokemon universe. Personally, I hate the whole concept of formes and think they are a stupid loophole to get around the Legendary Pokemon Don't Evolve Rule. I don't think it that the new forme changing for appearance is the worst that GameFreak could do, although it certainly is annoying.
