Theme deck contents

I'm assuming you mean the HGSS ones. If so, I'm curious as well. Those energy are calling out to be used in my decks :D
 
Yeah, they are very cool energies. All I know is that the decks are called:
Mind Flood ({W}{P})
Ember Spark ({R}{L})
Growth Clash ({G}{F})

I just wish that PUSA or PCi or whatever the heck it is would stop rolling dice to determine the names of the decks. "Ember Spark"? Honestly?

I HEARD that Gatr Prime, Typhlosion Prime, and Meganium Prime are going to be in Mind Flood, Ember Spark, and Growth Clash, respectively. Don't take my word for it, though, as I'm pretty sure it's just a rumor. Would be nice, though.
 
Lol they would never put a prime in a theme deck, it would be like having an ex in a theme deck.

I think you (or someone else) might have gotten the Primes in the theme decks mixed up with them being in the tins. Since we already know that those three Primes are going to be in the tins...
 
AS I SAID, it was just a rumor. Rumor = not proven to be true or false.
I, myself, don't believe that the Primes will be in the theme decks either. I just said what I had heard, that's all.
 
I thought that regular Typh, Meg and Frr were in the theme decks, and special promo versions of their respective primes would be in the collectable tins.
 
The article on bulbapedia doesn't work because-well-there IS no article.

The theme decks have Typhlosion(regular, not prime), Meganium and Feraligatr(with the same circumstances). In the tins is PROMO Feraligatr, Typhlosion and Meganium PRIME. Sho yesh.
 
I think it's safe to say that the decks will have Holo versions of the regular HG/SS Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr, as well as plenty of the 'new' Energy. Just those will cover about half of the deck - the rest will be random crap mostly, though we'll have to wait and see which other Rare cards get thrust in. I'd guess at:

Mind Flood - Non-Holo Azumarill and Hypno
Ember Spark - Non-Holo Arcanine and Ampharos
Growth Clash - Non-Holo Jumpluff and Sandslash

Either that or we'll get the likes of Furret, Granbull, and Persian in a deck each...

Just a rough guess though xD

They're still using the old energy in the theme decks, unfortunately.

Oh.. I probably won't buy any of the new decks then. The new Energy was a big selling point to me xD
 
I wonder if we'll see DCE in any of them...

With the trainers in HGSS I bet there will be a deck similar to the Overflow SV deck (worth buying just for the Roseanne's)
 
In case you're wondering about the energy in the theme decks, they are the same as the old energy, but have the HGSS borders. They do not have silhouettes of Pokemon on them.
