Pokemon They are milking the franchise. To give in, or not to give in?

So, it's official. They're milking the franchise, yet we continue to be zombies and get the cash sucked out of our pockets for what we may, or may not consider beneficial and entertaining. What do we do, live on this "necessity" for the rest of our lives/until the franchise dies? I'll keep my opinion to myself and avoid obstinate bickering, but I'd like to hear what you other Beachers think about this.[/inquisition]

What would you do different?
 
I'm not too sure either. I'll just keep following the flow of my life and accept it whether I quit buying Pokémon merchandise, or keep on buying their goods. Time should decide for me.[/lettimedoit]

I meant if you were charge of the franchise, what would you do?
 
I'd honestly milk the franchise until the amount of revenue drops to an all time low. Of course, I wouldn't let the Pokémon franchise die; that'd be years of investment and game development put to waste. What I'd most likely do is think of better variations of the game, instead of the standard, "collect badges and beat the Pokémon league" scenario.[/maybe]

i personally have an idea of a 3d mmo pokemon game.
ME and a team of guys have been working on this for about 3 months now.
were using gmod as a test arena.
