Pokemon This would be a cool idea...

I just brainstormed a pretty cool idea for Nintendo. There are so many people making fakemon and posting them here and on other forums and many of them such as Fangking Omega's work are pretty professional. Because the youth of Pokemon have so many great ideas, Nintendo should host a sweepstakes where you can send in one of your fakemon along with its name and Nintendo will publish it in to its next generation of Pokemon. You can post your thoughts of the idea here. I'm almost positive it won't happen but it's just a thought. Let me know why it would and wouldn't work. :)

And I mean, what better prize would there be to have the endless bragging rights that would come with your very own Pokemon? A very nice idea, despite the fact that I just don't see it happening.

Yeah, go up to your friends: "Hey, you know that new Pokemon, *Insert Fakemon's name here*? Well, I created it!" Friends: "Yeah. Right. Sure... Um.. we have to go do some stuff over there now..." *Dashes off*
You: "Guys? Hello? Anyone?"
 
That would be completely awesome!
Although many would make legendary Pokemon,
I would make a three evolution set :p
 
I mean, they could have a little insert in the gameplay manual of the game of the sweepstakes results. I think it would be cool, especially because Nintendo should find ways to become more interactive with their fans. They're already becoming interactive with Wi-Fi, why not come up with new idea like this. =)

I mean, this will also affect TCG. Once the Pokemon is in the games, it would be in the next TCG sets a well. Ultimately, someone from the Nintendo industry would end up drawing the other images of the Pokemon sent in. There would defenitely have to be forms that would need to be signed because it would involve some legal work if Nintendo is going to use something from their fans. That would be one drawback, because it could be a bit confusing and complicated. :)

Yeah, I bet you there's some PRETTY BIG WORDS in the contract. They would hafta redesign the WHOLE contract and put it in terms a three-year-old could understand. lolz
 
lol, yeah. There would be some legalistics that you'd have to take care of because Nintendo is using your property for their benifit. It's kind of funny to say it that way when it's involving a Pokemon in a video game. xP

But I've created over 50 Pokemon of my own and I would be up for anything like that if it were to happen. Although it's defenitely not in my opinion, it will be awesome if it did. :)

That'd be awesome, but the problem is once you draw it then ken sugimori would have to redraw it for the "main" artwork of the pokemon and you may think "No, no no it looks all wrong!" and stuff like that.

Why would a three-year old have to be able to understand it? I'm 11 and know whether I'm getting a good deal, I'll take 50% of the profits for the Pokemon's merchandise, thank you very much! I could understand it if they put in terms for a 20-year old.
 
I think that would be a pretty cool idea. It would be awesome to see some fan-created pokemon in an upcoming generation of pokemon. It would be really cool to see your pokemon on a TCG card or in an episode even! =D

That would be amazing because people in forums like this could send in their fakemon. Maybe nintendos already doing soething like this and searching our forums for new, greater ideas.
 
The contract could similar to what they offer their own employees.
 
You would need a fancy dancy certificate and then you could brag to them.
 
That would be cool. I'm already starting to draw and scan some fakemon of my own so it's a headset for if Nintendo would take an idea like this or not. Probably not but it's still fun dreaming. :p
